Major Retailers Are Seemingly Cutting Ties With Blake Lively, Pulling Her Products From Shelves

Blake Lively’s business empire is taking major hits as several of her consumer brands are being pulled or downgraded at major retailers. Whole Foods has removed her canned cocktail line Betty Booze from its coolers, and Target has placed her exclusive hair?care line Blake Brown on clearance—just two years after its high?profile 2024 launch. Internal court documents recently revealed that Blake Brown was projected to hit $100 million in its first year but fell dramatically short, with sales reportedly dropping 56% to 90%. Betty Booze was already struggling before the Justin Baldoni lawsuit, and her non?alcoholic mixer line Betty Buzz shut down entirely in 2025. All of this comes in the wake of Lively’s legal defeat. She sued It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni in 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign. Baldoni countersued for $400 million. Earlier this year, a judge dismissed 10 of her 13 claims, including all harassment and defamation allegations. On May 4—one day before trial—the two sides settled. Lively received no money and no apology, while Baldoni’s team called it a “total victory.” The combination of the lawsuit outcome, public backlash, and collapsing brand performance has fueled speculation that Lively and Ryan Reynolds may retreat to the U.K. to escape the spotlight.

"Moriarty" Series About Sherlock Holmes' Nemesis In The Works

Sherlock Holmes is getting another TV universe expansion, but this time the spotlight is shifting to his legendary enemy, Professor Moriarty. A new series currently titled Moriarty is in development from Fremantle and Archery Pictures. The show reimagines Moriarty as a modern-day criminal mastermind who secretly runs organized crime across Northern England while working publicly as a professor of criminal psychology at Durham University. Things get messy when another criminal organization threatens his empire, forcing Moriarty to team up with police as a consultant to take down the competition — all while hiding the fact that he’s basically the guy causing half the crime in the first place. Casting hasn’t been announced yet, but the role has big shoes to fill after portrayals by actors like Andrew Scott, Ralph Fiennes and Jared Harris.

Stan Lee Returns Under AI Pact: Elevenlabs Licenses Marvel Legend's Voice And Likeness

ElevenLabs has signed a deal to digitally revive the voice and likeness of late Marvel legend Stan Lee for AI-powered projects. The company says fans will now be able to use an AI version of Stan Lee’s voice to narrate books through its Eleven Reader app, while creators can generate comic-style images of Lee using visual templates inspired by Marvel panels. The voice model was reportedly trained using professional recordings of Lee before his death in 2018. The partnership is with Stan Lee Universe, which says the goal is to keep Lee’s personality and storytelling spirit alive for fans. The rollout even includes a monthly “Stan Lee Book Club,” where AI-Stan narrates classic public-domain books starting with Treasure Island. The move is part of a growing trend where celebrity estates are licensing AI versions of famous stars. ElevenLabs already offers voices and likenesses tied to names like Michael Caine, Judy Garland and David Hasselhoff.

Adam Sandler Slammed For Embarrassing Display At Wife's Big Movie Premiere

Adam Sandler is catching heat online after showing up to his wife’s movie premiere looking like he was headed to a late-night grocery run instead of a Hollywood red carpet. Sandler attended the Los Angeles premiere of the new Netflix film Office Romance alongside his wife, Jackie Sandler, who stars in the movie with Jennifer Lopez. While Jackie arrived dressed glamorously in a black mini dress and heels, Adam stuck to his trademark casual style — rocking a bright orange New York Knicks hoodie, blue sweatpants, and colorful sneakers. Fans online were divided. Critics blasted the look as disrespectful and lazy, saying he could’ve at least worn a collared shirt for his wife’s big night. Others defended him, arguing that dressing like a suburban dad at Costco is basically Adam Sandler’s brand at this point. The outfit also doubled as a celebration of the New York Knicks making the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999, which apparently mattered more to Sandler than tuxedos.

Steven Spielberg Talks Aliens In 'Disclosure Day' Final Trailer

Steven Spielberg is back in alien territory, and apparently he’s not ruling out little green visitors anymore. A final trailer for Disclosure Day dropped yesterday, with Spielberg admitting he now believes there’s probably other intelligent life out there in the universe — more than he did back when he made Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The new sci-fi thriller follows two people caught in a massive government conspiracy tied to alien life. The film stars Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor, with a stacked supporting cast including Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo and Wyatt Russell. Spielberg says “Disclosure” could actually bring people together and remind humanity there’s “something bigger out there than just ourselves.” Either that, or aliens finally got tired of buffering Earth from a distance. Disclosure Day lands in theaters June 12.

Robert Pattinson Stars As ;To Catch A Predator' Host Chris Hanson In First Trailer For 'Primetime'

A24 has released the first teaser for Primetime, a new drama starring Robert Pattinson as former Dateline NBC correspondent Chris Hansen. The film is based around the controversial NBC series To Catch a Predator, where Hansen confronted adults accused of trying to meet minors for sex after online sting operations. The teaser leans into the tension and media frenzy surrounding the show’s peak in the mid-2000s. The movie is directed by documentary filmmaker Lance Oppenheim in his feature-film debut and also stars Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Phoebe Bridgers. The official synopsis is short and simple: “In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen sets out to make television history.” The film is expected to hit theaters in the fall.

"Dutton Ranch" Scores Biggest Paramount+ Series Launch Ever With 12.5 Million Views

Dutton Ranch is already a monster hit for Paramount+, becoming the biggest series launch in the platform’s history. According to Paramount, the first two episodes pulled in 12.9 million views within just seven days after premiering May 15. That crushed the previous record held by Mobland, which debuted with 8.8 million views earlier this year. The network also aired the premiere episodes on linear TV, where they averaged 2.9 million viewers in a single night, according to Nielsen.

Netflix Star Emerges As Surprise Contender For Next James Bond

The search for the next James Bond is turning into Hollywood’s longest-running guessing game, and now a surprise new contender is shaking up the odds. Since Daniel Craig wrapped up his run as Bond in No Time to Die, fans have been waiting for news on who’ll inherit the tuxedo, the Aston Martin, and the lifelong obligation to stare dramatically at martinis. The usual names — Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harris Dickinson, and Callum Turner — are still leading the betting odds, but Leo Suter from Vikings: Valhalla has suddenly entered the conversation. The 32-year-old actor recently hinted he’d gladly take the role, saying, “Watch this space.” The Bond franchise is also entering a major transition after the Broccoli family handed creative control to Amazon MGM Studios. Meanwhile, Denis Villeneuve is reportedly attached to direct the next movie, with Steven Knight writing the script. Rumors suggest the reboot could focus on a younger Bond early in his MI6 career. Other names still floating around include Jacob Elordi, Jack O'Connell, and longtime fan favorite Henry Cavill, who famously lost the role to Craig back in 2006.

Russell Crowe Defends Foul-Mouthed Rant Scolding Fans Waiting For His Autograph

Russell Crowe is defending himself after a viral video showed him sternly warning fans outside his Paris hotel before signing autographs. The actor told the crowd not to “push in” on him and warned that if anyone acted like “a d***,” he would leave. Despite the tough tone, Crowe later responded on X saying everybody still got their autograph and selfies, hotel access stayed clear for guests, and he still made it to the airport on time. He added, “One man, no security. Handled. What’s your problem?” Crowe has been spending time in Paris attending the French Open, where he even snagged a stray tennis ball from the crowd like Maximus discovering pickleball. He attended the event with girlfriend Britney Theriot, whom he’s been dating since 2020.

'Big Bang Theory' Alum Joins Spinoff 'Stuart Fails To Save The Universe'

Fans of The Big Bang Theory just got another sneak peek at the upcoming spinoff Stuart Fails to Save the Universe — and yes, Wil Wheaton is officially back in the chaos. A newly released HBO Max teaser briefly shows Wheaton reprising the exaggerated version of himself he played throughout The Big Bang Theory. In the clip, he appears inside Stuart’s comic book store and seems to blast an energy weapon at Stuart and the gang during what looks like full-blown multiverse madness. Wheaton originally appeared in 17 episodes of the main series between Seasons 3 and 12, usually serving as Sheldon Cooper’s favorite mortal enemy. The new show centers on comic book shop owner Stuart Bloom, played again by Kevin Sussman. The storyline kicks off after Stuart accidentally breaks a machine built by Sheldon and Leonard, triggering a multiverse disaster that threatens reality itself. Stuart teams up with Denise, Bert, and Barry Kripke to try fixing the universe while encountering alternate-reality versions of familiar characters from the original series. Judging by the title, things do not exactly go smoothly. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe premieres in July on HBO Max.

Ben Stiller Teaming With Mike Judge On Apple Comedy Series 'Protective Custody'

Ben Stiller will star in and executive produce Protective Custody, a new comedy series being developed by Mike Judge for Apple. The series follows a disgraced financier accused of massive fraud who lands in protective custody while awaiting trial. From there, he’s forced to survive prison politics, repair his shattered image and deal with the fallout from his actions. Think white-collar crime meets prison chaos — with awkward comedy layered on top. The show marks Stiller’s first lead role in a scripted comedy series outside of sketch television. Judge, best known for Silicon Valley, Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill, will co-write, co-run and direct the project alongside writers Steve Hely and Dave King. According to reports, the original pitch was described as Hogan’s Heroes meets The Office — which sounds either brilliant or like HR’s worst nightmare.

Ben Affleck To Narrate Whitey Bulger Docuseries For Hulu

Hulu is diving back into the true-crime world with a new three-part docuseries about infamous Boston mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger — and it’ll be narrated by Ben Affleck. The series, currently titled Hunting Whitey Bulger, promises a deep look into the rise, manhunt, capture, and violent death of the notorious gangster who led Boston’s Winter Hill Gang. Bulger became one of America’s most wanted fugitives after his former FBI handler, John Connolly, allegedly tipped him off about an impending indictment. That warning helped Bulger disappear for 16 years before authorities finally tracked him down in 2011. He was later convicted on 31 counts, including racketeering and involvement in 11 murders, and sentenced to two consecutive life terms. In 2018, Bulger was beaten to death in prison just hours after being transferred to a new facility. According to Hulu, the series will feature brand-new reporting, never-before-seen handwritten prison letters, and interviews with key people speaking publicly for the first time. The project aims to tell what it calls the “definitive inside story” behind the hunt for Bulger. Bulger’s life has already inspired multiple Hollywood projects, including The Departed and Black Mass.

Nascar Legend Kyle Busch Dead At 41

The NASCAR world is in shock after news broke that Kyle Busch has died at the age of 41 following a sudden and severe illness. Busch had reportedly been hospitalized earlier yesterday and was forced to withdraw from this weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 before NASCAR later confirmed his passing in a joint statement with his family and Richard Childress Racing. NASCAR called Busch a “once-in-a-generation talent” and praised his fierce competitiveness, massive skill, and deep connection with fans, especially his loyal “Rowdy Nation.” Busch spent more than two decades racing at the sport’s highest level and became one of the most successful drivers in NASCAR history, winning Cup Series championships in 2015 and 2019. Busch’s career numbers are staggering. He racked up 63 Cup Series victories and an all-time record 234 wins across NASCAR’s top three national series. His last Cup win came in 2023, his first season driving for Richard Childress Racing after leaving Joe Gibbs Racing. Earlier in the day, reports said Busch had been battling an undisclosed illness and was undergoing treatment after experiencing symptoms during recent races, including at Watkins Glen where he reportedly asked for medical attention over the radio. Austin Hill had been tapped to replace him in the No. 8 Chevrolet for the Coca-Cola 600.

Michael Bay To Direct True Story On Largest Rescue Mission In American History To Save Two Downed Pilots In Iran

Universal Pictures and director Michael Bay are developing a movie based on the real-life rescue mission that recovered two American pilots after their F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down behind enemy lines in Iran during Operation Epic Fury. The film will reportedly be based on an upcoming 2027 book by author Mitchell Zuckoff and will focus on the high-risk military operation carried out in Iran’s Zagros Mountains. The rescue mission successfully extracted both the pilot and weapons systems officer after the aircraft went down during combat operations. The daring recovery became international news and reportedly caught Bay’s attention as he searched for his next directing project.

Johnny Depp's LA Home Visited By Police After Alleged Female Stalker Is Spotted

Police were called to a Hollywood Hills mansion owned by Johnny Depp on Tuesday after a woman allegedly showed up outside the property and refused to leave. According to reports, the LAPD got a call around 4 p.m. claiming the woman was trespassing and sitting near the front gate of the actor’s estate in West Hollywood. Sources say the woman had reportedly been hanging around the property several times over the weekend and had become a growing concern for neighbors. She was allegedly seen filming around the mansion and acting suspiciously, and may have been trying to leave some kind of message for Depp. By the time officers arrived, the woman had already disappeared, and no arrests were made.

Everybody Loves Raymond Fans Shocked At Amount Ray Romano Makes In Residuals

Ray Romano is still cashing monster checks from Everybody Loves Raymond more than 20 years after the sitcom ended. Reports say Romano earns up to $18 million a year in syndication and streaming residuals from the show airing on platforms like Paramount+ and Peacock. Back in 2005, Romano set a Guinness World Record by making nearly $2 million per episode during the show’s ninth and final season. His massive contract also included royalties from syndicated reruns, which sparked tension with co-star Brad Garrett, who played Robert Barone. Garrett reportedly refused to work unless CBS renegotiated the cast’s contracts, arguing the pay gap was way out of line. The dispute got serious enough that his character was temporarily removed from an episode, and fellow cast members Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, and Peter Boyle backed him by calling out sick in solidarity. CBS eventually came back to the table. Garrett’s salary jumped significantly, and the supporting cast received small ownership stakes in the show’s syndication profits. Romano later admitted he knew backlash was coming once his salary numbers became public, saying the fight was “inevitable.”

"'South Park' Season 29 To Premiere In September

South Park is officially coming back for Season 29 on September 16, and the first teaser is exactly as classy as fans would expect. Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced the premiere date during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Shortly afterward, Comedy Central released a 10-second promo featuring Cartman sitting on a toilet accompanied by very enthusiastic bathroom sound effects. So yes, after nearly three decades, the creative vision remains: “What if fart jokes, but professionally?” During the interview, host Jimmy Kimmel joked that Parker and Stone probably wouldn’t start making the season until the day before it airs. Parker admitted they’ll actually return to work in late August — but “only for a few hours a day.”

Mike Tyson Claims He Caught Brad Pitt With His Ex-Wife In Wild Tale

Mike Tyson is telling the story again — the day he says he pulled up to his ex?wife Robin Givens’ house and found Brad Pitt in the car with her, long before Pitt became a superstar. On Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Tyson said this happened while he and Givens were in the middle of a messy divorce in 1989. According to Tyson, they were “fighting in the papers by day” but still sleeping together at night. One afternoon, Tyson went to Givens’ house and found no one home — until she pulled into the driveway in the BMW he bought her, with a mystery man in the passenger seat. Tyson thought it was one of her sitcom co?stars… until he got a closer look. It was Brad Pitt — but not the Brad Pitt we know today. Tyson said Pitt looked like a “beach bum,” didn’t even have a car, and appeared terrified when he saw Tyson standing there. Tyson has told versions of this story before, even writing in his book that Pitt looked like he was “ready to receive his last rites.” Robin Givens has confirmed Tyson once saw her arriving with Pitt, who had guest?starred on her show Head of the Class, but she denies Tyson’s claim that anything happened between them or that Tyson ever caught them in bed.

Zach Galifianakis To Star In 'Very Young Frankenstein' On FX/Hulu

FX is bringing the Frankenstein comedy world back to life with a new series called Very Young Frankenstein, inspired by the classic Young Frankenstein from comedy legend Mel Brooks. The show is headed to both FX and Hulu. The series stars Zach Galifianakis, Dolly Wells, and Spencer House, although producers are keeping character details secret for now. FX says the show will be a completely fresh spin on the Frankenstein universe rather than a direct remake. The original 1974 movie became one of Brooks’ most iconic comedies, starring Gene Wilder as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein — pronounced “Fronk-en-steen” in one of the film’s most famous running jokes — and Peter Boyle as the monster. The movie brilliantly spoofed the old Universal horror films while becoming a comedy classic itself.

Sheriff Investigating Nancy Guthrie Case Says He's Not In Touch With Her Family

Nancy Guthrie has now been missing for more than 100 days after authorities say she was kidnapped from her Tucson, Arizona home back on February 1. Investigators believe the 84-year-old was taken against her will, and surveillance footage later showed a masked man tampering with her doorbell camera overnight before she disappeared. No suspects have been identified. Chris Nanos, the sheriff leading the investigation, says he is no longer personally communicating with Nancy’s family. Instead, contact is now handled through detectives and the FBI. Earlier in the case, Nanos had been texting and occasionally speaking directly with Savannah Guthrie, but says investigators are now handling all updates and communication.

Jury Rejects Elon Musk's $150 Billion Suit Against OpenAI And Sam Altman

A federal jury in California has rejected Elon Musk’s lawsuit against OpenAI, dealing a major blow to his claims that the company abandoned its nonprofit roots in favor of chasing profits with backing from Microsoft. Musk sued OpenAI in 2024, accusing CEO Sam Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman of violating the organization’s original mission to develop AI for the benefit of humanity rather than for corporate gain. He claimed OpenAI had essentially transformed from a charity-minded nonprofit into a profit machine tied closely to Microsoft. But after a three-week trial in federal court in Oakland, a nine-member jury unanimously ruled that Musk waited too long to bring the case. Jurors found he was aware as early as 2021 that OpenAI was shifting toward a for-profit structure, meaning his 2024 lawsuit fell outside the legal statute of limitations. Musk had been seeking $150 billion in damages. He also wanted Altman removed from OpenAI’s board and hoped to force the company back into nonprofit status. His legal team argued OpenAI had “stolen a charity” and betrayed its founding principles.

Shakira Acquitted In Tax Case As Spanish Government Must Return $70 Million

Shakira has scored a major legal victory in Spain after the country’s High Court cleared her of tax fraud allegations tied to her 2011 income. The ruling overturned a massive €55 million fine that had been imposed by Spanish tax authorities in 2021. According to her representatives, the government now owes the singer more than €60 million back after the court found authorities failed to prove she lived in Spain long enough during 2011 to qualify as a tax resident. Spanish officials had argued that Shakira’s relationship with former soccer star Gerard Piqué tied her closely enough to Spain for tax purposes. But the court ruled there wasn’t enough evidence showing she spent the required 183 days in the country that year. Shakira blasted the case in a lengthy statement, saying she endured nearly a decade of reputational damage, public scrutiny and emotional stress while being treated as guilty before authorities could actually prove anything. She said she hopes the decision becomes a precedent protecting ordinary taxpayers from what she described as aggressive government tactics. Her legal team called the entire ordeal an “eight-year nightmare” and praised the court for finally shutting it down.

Spencer Pratt Plans To Leave L.A. If He Loses Mayoral Bid

Spencer Pratt says he’s all?in on his run for Los Angeles mayor — so much so that he claims he’ll leave LA entirely if he loses either the June 2 primary or the November election. The Hills alum, who’s filming a reality show about his campaign, told Adam Carolla that if he wins, he plans to rebuild the home he lost in last year’s Palisades wildfire. He also said he expects to win a lawsuit he’s filed against California’s state park system and the LADWP, and would use that money to rebuild — but only if he’s elected. If not, he says he’ll move somewhere his kids “won’t have to see naked zombies,” his phrase for the homelessness crisis. Pratt’s campaign has leaned heavily on criticism of the city’s wildfire response and of current mayor Karen Bass. He’s also faced scrutiny for portraying himself as living in a trailer on his burned?down property, when he’s actually staying at the Hotel Bel?Air.

Matthew McConaughey Says He's Changed His Name, Lived Without Electricity To Exile Himself From Fame

Matthew McConaughey revealed that in the late ’90s, right after A Time to Kill made him a household name, he quietly disappeared to Peru under a fake name — Mateo — to figure out who he was without the fame. On the No Magic Pill podcast, he said he needed to “get his feet on the ground” and separate real validation from the Hollywood noise. He spent 22 days off the grid, the first 12 feeling “wonky,” the last 10 grounding him enough to realize he could either stay in that simple life or return home with clarity. Meeting people who only knew him as Mateo — not the actor — helped him reconnect with his identity. Their emotional goodbyes convinced him that who he was at his core had nothing to do with celebrity. McConaughey eventually returned to Hollywood and became an even bigger star, but he still takes solo retreats when he needs to reset. While writing his 2025 book Poems & Prayers, he went off alone to a desert with no electricity, just his diaries, food, water, and tequila. He said these trips always start with guilt and inner “demons,” but around day 12 he hits a breakthrough — a moment of forgiveness, change, and clarity.

"Rooster" Is HBO's Biggest Comedy Launch Since 'Hung' And 'Sex And The City'

Rooster just pulled off something HBO hasn’t seen in a comedy lineup in more than 15 years. According to Warner Bros. Discovery, the Steve Carell-led series delivered HBO’s most-watched debut season for a comedy since Hung premiered in 2009. The only first-season HBO comedy that performed better was Sex and the City back in 1998. The season finale, which aired May 10, brought in 2.2 million viewers during its first three days. Across all 10 episodes, the series is averaging 6.5 million viewers since debuting March 8. That puts Rooster ahead of several major HBO comedy favorites from the past 15 years, including Enlightened, Girls, Veep, Silicon Valley and Insecure.

Scarlett Johansson Confirmed For The Batman 2 As Director Teases New Cast Members For Sequel

Scarlett Johansson is officially headed to Gotham. Director Matt Reeves confirmed the longtime rumor that the Marvel star has joined The Batman Part II, the sequel to the 2022 hit starring Robert Pattinson as Batman. Reeves made the announcement in his usual cryptic style, posting a series of GIFs on X featuring Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance and Sebastian Koch — immediately sending comic book fans into full detective mode. According to reports, Stan will play Harvey Dent, the future villain Two-Face, while Dance is rumored to portray Harvey’s father, Christopher Dent. That has fueled speculation that Johansson could be playing Gilda Dent, Harvey’s wife from the comics. Reeves only teased her arrival with the message: “Next exit, Gotham... Welcome.” In Hollywood, that’s basically the Bat-Signal.

The gang is getting back together again — or at least trying to. Adam Sandler and longtime writing partner Tim Herlihy are officially working on a third Grown Ups movie for Netflix, with Happy Gilmore 2 director Kyle Newacheck signed on to direct. The original 2010 comedy starred Adam Sandler alongside Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph and Maria Bello. The story followed a group of childhood friends reuniting decades later for a chaotic vacation packed with middle-aged mayhem, bad decisions, and enough dad jokes to fill a Costco-sized pack. A sequel followed in 2013, and now Netflix has confirmed a third installment is officially in development. So far, there’s no word on which cast members are returning, no release date, and no plot details.

Dunst posted a photo from set showing her director’s chair beside Jack Black’s, labeled with their character names Alex and Steve in classic block?letter Minecraft style. Her caption: “It has begun…..” Dunst was confirmed in March to be playing Alex, the major game character teased in the first film’s end?credits scene. She joins returning stars Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge. The sequel is slated for release on July 23, 2027.

Will Ferrell's Netflix Golf Comedy Series "The Hawk" Unveils Teaser and Release Date

Netflix has officially released the first teaser for The Hawk, Will Ferrell’s upcoming golf?themed comedy series — and confirmed the show will premiere July 16. The announcement came during Netflix’s Upfront presentation in New York, along with several first?look photos. In the teaser, Ferrell’s character — golf legend Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins — attempts a triumphant comeback swing… only to drill a bystander with a line drive. His reaction: “Oh, Mama, I’m back! … Oh, I’m not back!” The series follows Lonnie, the No. 1 golfer of 2004, now struggling on the “back nine” of his career. His body says retire, his family says he’s done, but Lonnie insists he’s one major away from completing golf’s Grand Slam and pulling off the greatest comeback in golf history. The cast includes Molly Shannon as Lonnie’s foul?mouthed ex?wife Stacy, plus Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, and David Hornsby. Ferrell briefly paused filming last November after a minor off?set injury, but production quickly adjusted and continued.

HBO Max has officially released the first teaser trailer for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, the newest expansion of the The Big Bang Theory universe. The new 10-episode comedy premieres July 23 at 9 p.m. ET, with new episodes dropping weekly. The teaser debuted during the Warner Bros. Discovery upfront presentation in New York, where stars Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn, and John Ross Bowie appeared onstage to announce the release date. The series centers on comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, played by Sussman, who accidentally triggers a multiverse disaster after breaking a device created by Sheldon and Leonard. Stuart then teams up with his girlfriend Denise, geologist Bert, and eccentric physicist Barry Kripke to try to restore reality — although, according to the show’s title, things don’t exactly go smoothly. The show promises alternate-universe versions of familiar “Big Bang Theory” characters and leans heavily into sci-fi chaos and comedy. The series was co-created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady.

Eminem's Ex-Wife Kim Mathers Pleads No Contest To Operating A Vehicle While Impaired

Prosecutors say Mathers crashed a Range Rover into a parked pickup truck on Feb. 16, pushing the truck more than 50 feet. Authorities allege she was impaired at the time and failed to stop or report the crash afterward. Mathers entered a no contest plea to operating while impaired and failure to stop after a collision. She’s scheduled to be sentenced in June and could face up to 93 days in jail. Kim and Eminem were married twice — first from 1999 to 2001 and briefly again in 2006. They share daughter Hailie Jade Scott.

Billy Bob Thornton Doubles Down On Belief That Celebrities Should Shut Up About Politics

Billy Bob Thornton is once again saying celebrities should stay out of politics. In a new chat with Howie Mandel, the actor said actors and musicians shouldn’t use award shows or their platforms to tell people how to vote, calling it pointless and out of touch. Thornton, who describes himself as a “radical moderate,” said he’d rather talk about being human than push political beliefs he doesn’t feel qualified to preach. He also repeated his stance that award shows should follow Ricky Gervais’ famous advice: accept your trophy and move on.

"The Price Is Right" Contestant Wins Biggest Single-Game Payout In Show's 54 Year History

A contestant on The Price Is Right just made daytime TV history with a jackpot so big it probably caused several couch viewers to throw remote controls across the room. Vanesa McCaskell, a retired Army veteran from Virginia, won more than $240,000 during the show’s Mother’s Day special — the largest single pricing-game prize in the show’s 54-year history. Her massive payday came during a newer high-stakes game called “The Lion’s Share,” where contestants can gamble their winnings for even bigger rewards. McCaskell took the risk and walked away with $227,500 in cash plus a trip to Morocco worth another $12,650. The win officially broke the previous record of $210,000 set back in 2016 on the game “Cliff Hangers.” McCaskell said the whole experience felt surreal and called the winnings “life changing.” She says she plans to invest wisely, enjoy some of it, and surprise her mom with something special.

NBC Cancels On Brand With Jimmy Fallon After One Season Amid Poor Ratings

Jimmy Fallon just took a rare ratings hit: NBC has canceled his business reality series On Brand With Jimmy Fallon after one season. The show featured Fallon acting as head of a fictional marketing agency called On Brand, where contestants competed to come up with creative advertising campaigns for major companies. Fallon created, hosted and executive produced the series, which NBC hoped would blend reality competition with Madison Avenue-style branding. Joining Fallon on the show was Bozoma Saint John, the former executive from companies including Uber, Pepsi and Netflix. She served as the agency’s Chief Marketing Officer, mentoring contestants and critiquing their pitches. The series lasted eight episodes during fall 2025 and included appearances from brands like Dunkin’, Samsung, Sonic Drive-In and Southwest, along with a cameo from Jennifer Garner. According to reports, the show struggled with ratings from the start. Its rollout bounced between Tuesday and Friday time slots and also got pushed around once NBA coverage entered the schedule. That’s usually TV code for: “We believe in this show… just not enough to keep it in one place.”

Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Sued By Miami Cops For Defamation Over Their Netflix Movie The Rip

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are catching legal heat over their new Netflix crime thriller The Rip — and this one’s coming from real cops in Miami. The movie, produced by the duo’s company Artists Equity, stars Damon and Affleck as Miami-Dade narcotics officers who uncover corruption after stumbling onto $20 million in cartel cash. The film says it’s “inspired by true events,” but now two actual Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officers say the movie went way too far. Officers Jason Smith and Jonathan Santana have filed a defamation lawsuit, claiming the movie’s main cops — played by Damon and Affleck — are clearly based on them, even though their names aren’t used. According to the lawsuit, the film copies enough specific details from a real 2016 drug-money seizure involving more than $21 million that viewers can easily connect the dots. The officers say the movie paints them as dirty cops who cut corners, act unethically, and even commit violent crimes. One scene reportedly shows Affleck’s character killing a DEA agent. Their attorneys argue the film suggests corruption that never actually happened in real life. The lawsuit claims the fallout has already hit home. The officers say friends, coworkers, and even family members have questioned whether they secretly pocketed seized money to pay for fancy homes, boats, cars, and private schools after seeing the movie. They’re suing for defamation, emotional distress, damages, legal fees, and they want a public correction — including a disclaimer added to the movie making it crystal clear the fictional corruption never happened.

Benedict Cumberbatch Argues In Street With Cyclist Who Said He Jumped Red Light OnE-Bike

Benedict Cumberbatch was involved in a heated roadside argument Tuesday evening after another cyclist confronted him for allegedly running a red light while riding his cargo bike in London. Witnesses say the second cyclist chased him down, leading Cumberbatch to stop, get off his bike, and walk across the road to confront him. A video shows the masked cyclist repeatedly calling the actor “deluded” and “a liar,” accusing him of blowing through multiple lights and even a zebra crossing. Cumberbatch pushed back, saying the man was “verbally abusing” him and insisting he only made one mistake, not several. The exchange lasted about ten minutes, blocking the cycle lane and drawing a crowd — including schoolchildren who recognized him as Doctor Strange. After the confrontation ended, Cumberbatch posed for photos with two young fans. A witness described the scene as “pompous road rage” and said the other cyclist seemed shocked when he realized who he was arguing with, but “doubled down” anyway.

New Film Will Chronicle Early Days Of MTV In Adaptation Of Insane And Hilarious Book, Says Director

A feature film about the birth of MTV is officially moving forward. Neon has picked up the rights to adapt I Want My MTV: The Uncensored Story of the Music Video Revolution by Craig Marks and Rob Tannenbaum. Director Geremy Jasper will lead the project, which—like the book—dives into MTV’s launch and chaotic early years, told through the people who believed music and television were destined to collide. Set in the early 1980s, the movie arrives at a moment when the media landscape is shifting again; MTV recently shuttered its final music?only channels. The film aims to capture the network’s transformation from a scrappy cable experiment into a cultural powerhouse that reshaped music, youth identity, and TV itself. MTV debuted on August 1, 1981, kicking things off with “Video Killed the Radio Star” by the Buggles—also the last video played when MTV Music signed off on December 31, 2025, ending decades of nonstop music broadcasting. Casting is still underway. Jasper, who worked at MTV in the ’90s and early 2000s (and even met his wife there), says he was immediately drawn to the book’s wild, funny, and rebellious look at ’80s ambition and excess. He added that Neon shares the same bold creative spirit that once made MTV a cultural juggernaut.

Khloe Kardashian Says She Was Drugged at Coachella Party

Khloe Kardashian revealed that the reason she has only been to Coachella once is because she was drugged at a party during her first and only outing at the music festival. There's a reason Khloe Kardashian doesn't go to Coachella. The Kardashians star revealed that she had a bad experience the one time she attended the famed desert music festival after getting drugged at an off-site party without her consent. "I've gone once," Khloe shared on the May 6 episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast. "It was many moons ago. I feel like 2016 or something like that. It wasn't the best experience. I got drugged without me knowing, but I think everyone knew." As the 41-year-old recalled, she was at a party where a mysterious juice was flowing that she believes was laced with drugs. "I don't think anyone drugged me," Khloe explained. "I just think I was the dumb one and didn't realize that everyone was on drugs." "I remember drinking this drink and just feeling really crazy," she added. "No one wants to feel like that and not know why they're like that." The experience was so jarring for her that the reality star ended up locking herself in a bathroom for hours to try and deal with it. "I just didn't realize what was happening until after it happened," Khloe said, "that I was on drugs and everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn't get out of the bathroom." However, she had a very good reason for keeping herself locked in the bathroom, saying, "I got scared. I was in my head. I was so scared." Overall, Khloe's Coachella experience "was not good." And while the Good American founder might not be ready for another romp in the California desert, the rest of her family certainly has been, with sister Kourtney Kardashian hosting Camp Poosh at Coachella 2026 while Kendall Jenner had her own 818 Tequila outpost. This year's festival was also extra exciting as Kendall and Kylie Jenner were on hand to watch pal Justin Bieber perform. Ahead of the festival, Kylie shared a look at her bedazzled floral nails, writing on her Instagram Story at the time, "It's giving Bieberchella." The 28-year-old further proved her love for close friend Hailey Bieber's husband with an oversized tank top featuring Justin's face for day one of the festival. (Eonline)

NCAA Expands March Madness To 76 Teams For Men, Women

The NCAA is officially expanding both the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments to 76 teams, beginning next season. The announcement came yesterday after the final round of committee approvals, marking the third expansion since 2000. The expansion has been driven largely by power conferences pushing for more at?large bids, but not everyone is celebrating. Analysts note the larger field risks watering down the early rounds. The Athletic pointed out that, under a 76?team format this year, even teams barely above .500—like Auburn—would have made the cut. Still, the move appears locked in, and March Madness is about to get even bigger.

Mark Hamill Deletes Trump Death Post: Prefer He Be Held Accountable For His Crimes

Mark Hamill sparked controversy this week after posting — and then deleting — an AI?generated image that appeared to show President Trump lying atop a grave. The Wednesday post featured a headstone reading “Donald J. Trump, 1964–2024” with the caption “If Only”, along with a message criticizing Trump and calling for him to be held accountable for what Hamill described as “crimes.” The Trump administration’s Rapid Response account on X reposted the image and called Hamill “one sick individual,” arguing that rhetoric like this contributes to threats against the president. Hours later, Hamill deleted the original post and replaced it with a new one. In the updated version, he used a different image — Trump alive, hair blowing in the wind — and clarified that he was not wishing death on the president. Hamill wrote that he meant Trump should “live long enough to… be held accountable,” and apologized if the earlier image was inappropriate.

Donald Trump Pays Tribute To Ted Turner While Lamenting 'Woke' CNN

Donald Trump paid tribute to media mogul Ted Turner, who died yesterday at 87, while simultaneously criticizing the network Turner founded, CNN. In a Truth Social post, Trump called Turner “one of the Greats of All Time” and a personal friend, but said Turner was “devastated” after selling CNN because new ownership “destroyed” the network and made it “woke.” He also referenced the proposed Paramount acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN’s parent company, saying he hopes “new buyers” can restore the network’s credibility.

Shakira Concert In Rio Generates $160 Million For Local Economy

Shakira just made history in Rio. Her free Copacabana Beach concert drew an estimated 2 million people, according to official city data — one of the largest crowds the iconic shoreline has ever seen. The event generated an estimated $160 million in economic impact, boosting hotels, restaurants, transportation, and retail across the city. The show was part of Rio’s “Todo Mundo no Rio” initiative, a government?led program designed to bring major tourism and revenue to the city during May, typically a slow month. Rio deployed a full?scale operation for security, logistics, and public services, with the city’s Operations and Resilience Center running at full capacity. The night opened with a 1,500?drone display, forming a giant she?wolf in the sky — a nod to Shakira’s signature symbol. Minutes later, she hit the stage wearing Brazil’s colors, speaking in Portuguese, and telling the crowd: “Brazil, I love you. It is magical to see millions of souls together.”

Sabrina Carpenter Performs Surprise Duet With Stevie Nicks At 2026 Met Gala

Sabrina Carpenter delivered one of the standout moments of the 2026 Met Gala with a surprise duet alongside Stevie Nicks. After guests gathered inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the Costume Art gala, Sabrina performed in front of the Temple of Dendur, singing House Tour, Espresso, and Please, Please, Please with a full orchestra, band, and dancers. She wore two performance looks: a multicolored Versace Tribute dress featuring Andy Warhol prints, and a shimmering Bob Mackie gold fringe dress. Following a brief interlude by Broadway’s Joshua Henry, Stevie Nicks took the stage for a three?song set — Landslide, Gypsy, and Edge of Seventeen. Sabrina joined her on “Landslide.”

David Letterman Calls CBS 'Lying Weasels' Over Stephen Colbert Cancellation

David Letterman is not buying CBS’s explanation for canceling The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In a new interview with The New York Times, the former late?night host said he believes the network’s claim that the decision was purely financial is false — calling CBS executives “lying weasels.” Letterman suggested the show was cut to smooth CBS’s sale to Skydance, saying the network wanted to signal that Colbert wouldn’t be an issue during the deal. He emphasized he has no access to CBS’s financial books but still finds the official reasoning hard to believe. He also expressed “disbelief” that the show he originally launched was being shut down, noting that while TV revenue has been hit by digital platforms, the network should still consider “the humanity” of Colbert and the millions who relied on that nightly 11:30 escape. CBS has maintained the cancellation was a business decision, and Colbert himself addressed that explanation on air. The Late Show ends May 21, with Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed

Taraji P. Henson Slams Celebs Attending Bezos-Sponsored Met Gala

Taraji P. Henson publicly called out celebrities for attending the 2026 Met Gala, which was sponsored by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos. She cosigned a viral social post warning stars not to wear ICE Out pins while attending an event funded by someone the post linked to controversial labor and political issues. Henson added her own frustration, writing that she’s “confused” by those choosing to go. She also reposted a graphic contrasting Bezos’ $500 million yacht with reports of difficult working conditions for Amazon warehouse employees, captioning it with a pointed “Enjoy the MET.” Bezos reportedly donated $10 million to sponsor the gala. Henson — normally a regular attendee — skipped this year, as did Zendaya, Bella Hadid, and Ariana Grande, though their reasons weren’t confirmed. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani also declined to attend, citing affordability concerns. Meanwhile, an activist group called Everyone Hates Elon staged a protest by placing nearly 300 bottles of fake urine inside the Met, referencing allegations that Amazon drivers are forced to relieve themselves in containers.

Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni Reach Settlement In 'It Ends With Us' Case

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled their long?running legal battle, ending the case just two weeks before trial. Terms weren’t disclosed, but both sides issued a joint statement saying they remain committed to supporting survivors of domestic violence. Lively had accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and running a smear campaign, while Baldoni denied all allegations. Most of Lively’s claims were dismissed in April, leaving only retaliation?related counts heading to trial before the settlement. The feud had sparked major fallout — Baldoni lost his agency and an award, public opinion swung back and forth, and even celebrities like Taylor Swift were pulled into the drama through court documents. The settlement closes a high?profile dispute that had hovered over It Ends With Us since late 2024.

Cameron Diaz And Benji Madden Announce Birth Of Third Child

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden just surprised everyone by announcing the arrival of their third child, a baby boy named Nautas Madden. Benji shared the news on Instagram with a drawing of a pirate ship labeled “Nautas Madden,” writing that he and Cameron are “happy, excited, and feeling so blessed” to welcome their new son. The couple, who are famously private about their family, didn’t share photos of the baby — consistent with how they’ve handled their other children, Raddix, 6, and Cardinal, 2. Benji added that their kids are “healthy and happy,” and that they’re loving life as a family of five.

Britney Spears Will Be Offered Probation For DUI, Avoid Jail Time

Britney Spears is likely to avoid jail time in her recent DUI case, according to Ventura County officials. Prosecutors have officially filed a misdemeanor DUI charge, but because Spears has no prior DUIs, there was no crash or injury, and her blood alcohol level was low, she’ll likely be offered what’s known as a “wet reckless.” A wet reckless is a standard deal for first?time offenders. It allows someone to plead guilty to reckless driving involving alcohol, receive 12 months of probation, complete a DUI class, and pay state?mandated fines — all while avoiding a full DUI conviction. Officials say this type of resolution is common, especially when the person shows they’re taking steps to address underlying issues. Spears recently checked herself into a treatment facility, something her rep confirmed earlier this month. A source said her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, were a major reason she agreed to seek help. Spears is scheduled to be arraigned on May 4, but because this is a misdemeanor, she doesn’t have to appear in person — her attorney can go for her. The arrest happened on March 4, after her black BMW was reported for speeding and driving erratically. Officers said she showed signs of impairment, failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested before being released the next morning.

Stranger Things Star Finn Wolfhard Announces New Album From The Hip

Finn Wolfhard is gearing up for a big summer. The Stranger Things star and indie rock musician has announced his second solo album, Fire From The Hip, arriving July 10. It follows his 2025 debut Happy Birthday, which he toured across the U.S., U.K., and Europe. The new record — led by the single “I’ll Let You Finish” — pushes his indie rock sound into a more dynamic, expansive direction. Wolfhard recorded the album in February, exploring themes of cultural memory, humor, and reflection, while drawing inspiration from classic rock staples like The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street and Beggars Banquet. He says this project leans deeper into nostalgia and collaboration, crediting close friends for helping shape the music. Wolfhard, who previously fronted Calpurnia and later The Aubreys, has long cited The Beatles as the spark that ignited both his music and acting ambitions. That influence came full circle at the end of 2025 when he directed the first ever official music video for George Harrison’s “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth).” The stop motion project involved 20 Canadian artists and stands as one of Wolfhard’s proudest career moments.

Meryl Streep Reveals Shocking Salary Demand For The Devil Wears Prada

Meryl Streep says she nearly walked away from The Devil Wears Prada back in 2006 — all over salary. During a Today reunion with Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, Streep revealed she initially turned down the role of Miranda Priestly until the studio agreed to double her pay. Streep said she knew the movie would be a hit and, at the time, was “ready to retire,” so she pushed for what she felt she was worth. The studio said yes immediately, and she ultimately earned a reported $4 million, plus a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nomination.
