Steven Spielberg is back in alien territory, and apparently he’s not ruling out little green visitors anymore. A final trailer for Disclosure Day dropped yesterday, with Spielberg admitting he now believes there’s probably other intelligent life out there in the universe — more than he did back when he made Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The new sci-fi thriller follows two people caught in a massive government conspiracy tied to alien life. The film stars Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor, with a stacked supporting cast including Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo and Wyatt Russell. Spielberg says “Disclosure” could actually bring people together and remind humanity there’s “something bigger out there than just ourselves.” Either that, or aliens finally got tired of buffering Earth from a distance. Disclosure Day lands in theaters June 12.
