FX is pushing back its kickoff time for the third season of Welcome to Wrexham. The docuseries was set to premiere Season 3 on Thursday, April 18, but this has now been pushed to Thursday, May 2. No reason was given for the movie. The series airs on the linear network and streams on Hulu the next day. The premiere will include the first two episodes. Welcome to Wrexham follows the British football team that Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds bought.

Keanu Reeves has partnered with Academy Award winner Fisher Stevens to co-produce a documentary on the life story of Benny “The Jet” Urquidez, the athlete who introduced mixed martial arts to the world. Titled The Jet, the film is currently in production. Sensei Benny “The Jet” Urquidez had a profound impact on martial arts in mainstream culture, as an actor, fight coordinator, and trainer to the stars.

Netflix is introducing the new film Unfrosted. The streaming service dropped a trailer for the movie yesterday featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Melissa McCarthy. Unfrosted is directed, co-written by and stars Seinfeld in his directorial debut. The film tells the origin story of Pop-Tarts breakfast pastries, with Seinfeld and McCarthy playing rivals at Kellogg's and Post Cereal, respectively, in 1960s Michigan. Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Thomas Lennon, Bobby Moynihan, Maria Bakalova, Max Greenfield, Bill Burr, Dan Levy, Christian Slater and Hugh Grant also star. The movie hits Netflix on May 3.

Director Judd Apatow said that despite his recent The King of Staten Island and The Bubble going straight to streaming, he still believes comedy films have a place in theaters. “The highest-grossing comedy last year made over a billion dollars. Barbie was a comedy,” Apatow said in an interview with Cinemablend. Barbie is “not a drama,” Apatow said. “There are some emotional moments in it, but it’s just wall-to-wall jokes. There’s something about it where I feel like no one wants to give comedy the win there. Like, why can’t we say Barbie is a comedy? What other category would it be?” Apatow thinks the genre just needs “another hit or two” to mount its theatrical comeback, citing Hollywood’s propensity to imitate success. Apatow said producers will “chase anything that does well” and “generally are averse to risk-taking.”

Jon Stewart faced online backlash this week after criticizing Donald Trump's civil real estate case for overvaluing properties, stating it was "not victimless." However, it was revealed that Stewart himself had overvalued his New York City penthouse by 829%, selling it for $17.5 million despite its assessed value being much lower. This mirrors the behavior Stewart condemned in Trump, accusing him of fraudulent behavior for failing to declare a higher market value on a property while paying taxes based on a lower assessed value.

The Bear star Jeremy Allen White is reportedly being eyed to play Bruce Springsteen in an upcoming film about the making of the singer’s 1982 album “Nebraska.” According to reports, White is the favorite to play a young Springsteen in the film – reportedly titled Deliver Me From Nowhere – which was announced in January. Springsteen and his manager Jon Landau are reportedly actively involved in the project. Deliver Me From Nowhere will chronicle Springsteen making the “Nebraska” record, which began to take shape as Springsteen and the E Street Band were recording “Born In The USA.”

Pierce Brosnan is giving his seal of approval to Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is rumored to be the next James Bond. Brosnan got his turn as James Bond through the 1990s and the beginning of the aughts across four films. As rumors heat up about the next actor to take on the role, Brosnan says Taylor-Johnson “has the chops” to take it on. “I think the man has the chops and the talent and the charisma to play Bond, very much so,” Brosnan said in an interview on The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1.

Yesterday on “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg stopped Hot Topics to reprimand an audience member who, rather than watch the show being produced in front of his eyes, pulled out his phone and started to record. Whoopi cut off co-host Sunny Hostin and addressed the man directly. “Sir, sir… I have to stop you with the camera, as I can see you,” she said as she got up from her seat and walked in his direction. “Do me a favor: Don’t pull it out again. I’d appreciate that. Thank you.”

A “Happy Gilmore 2” could be on the way. As revealed by sportscaster-turned-podcaster Dan Patrick, a sequel to Adam Sandler's golf movie is in the works, although a final product is hardly imminent. Christopher McDonald, who played Gilmore's rival golfer in the original, first tipped off fans last week when he told 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland that he’s seen a rough draft. Patrick – who has appeared in 10 Sandler movies - responded to the news by texting his friend, Sandler, to ask how much time he should take off in 2024 for a Gilmore sequel. “A few days,” Sandler responded, as retold on Patrick's podcast. “But I'll let you know when there's a script. Still figuring a lot out.”

Lionsgate and Universal Pictures have announced new cast members for Michael, a biopic about Michael Jackson. Larenz Tate, Kat Graham, Jessica Sula, Liv Symone, Kevin Shinick, Kendrick Sampson and KeiLyn Durrel Jones have joined the upcoming film. Tate will play Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, with Sampson to portray Quincy Jones. Graham and Symone have been cast as legendary singers Diana Ross and Gladys Knight, respectively. Sula will play Jackson's sister La Toya Jackson. Jones will portray Bill Bray, who was hired by Joe Jackson in the 1970s as security for the Jackson 5. Shinick has been cast as Dick Clark, who hosted American Bandstand when the Jackson 5 made a legendary early appearance. The movie hits theaters April 18th.

Rebel Wilson claims a Hollywood actor threatened her after she revealed her intention to name and shame him over his previous behavior in her upcoming memoir. The actress previously stated she would be dedicating a whole chapter in her book, Rebel Rising, to a “massive a**hole” she once worked with. The book will be out April 2. Now, Wilson has written on social media, claiming that the same man has hired a team to try to stop her writing about him. She said on Instagram Stories: “Now the a**hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book. But the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth.”

Shortly after Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales announced she’s being treated for cancer, Blake Lively took to social media to apologize for poking fun at the royal’s recent photoshop fails. “I’m sure no one cares today but I feel like I have to acknowledge this,” wrote Lively in her Instagram Stories. “I made a silly post around the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today. I’m sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always.” The photos in question were promotional shots for Lively’s Betty Buzz and Betty Booze line that showed her relaxing with a drink. Eminem will release a new album this year, Dr. Dre confirmed. The music producer revealed that the rapper will drop his first studio album for four years - a follow up to 2020's “Music to be Murdered By” - and Dre admitted he has some songs on the record. He told Jimmy Kimmel: “Let me explain something to you right now. Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year and I actually talked to him and he said it was OK for me to make that announcement right here on this show. I've got songs on it and it's fire. I'm actually going to hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow. He holds his music close to his chest, so I haven’t heard everything. I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done, but I’m gonna hear it, and he’s putting out an album this year."

Ark: The Animated Series, a new show based on the video game Ark: Survival Evolved, is now available to stream. The first six episodes of the animated series got a surprise release yesterday on Paramount+. Ark: The Animated Series is described as "a sweeping saga spanning eons of human history."

Cillian Murphy will return to star in a Peaky Blinders movie that starts shooting this fall. The confirmation comes from series creator Steven Knight, who told the UK’s Birmingham World that Murphy “definitely is returning for” the film, adding: “We’re shooting it in September just down the road in Digbeth.” Peaky Blinders aired for six seasons on Netflix. The series followed a notorious gang in 1919 Birmingham, England, led by the fierce Tommy Shelby (Murphy), a crime boss set on moving up in the world no matter the cost. The series wrapped up in 2022.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) has broken the Disney+ record for the most-streamed music special of all time, just three days since its release. The concert film of Swift’s ongoing world tour, which has also broken multiple records, was made available on Disney+ on 14 March. The film was viewed for a collective 16.2 million hours in its opening weekend, surpassing viewership of music films from Elton John, Beyoncé and The Beatles.

Imelda Staunton confirmed there will be a third and final Downton Abbey movie, during a tell-all interview with Zoe Ball on Radio 2 yesterday. The actress plays one of Queen Mary's ladies-in-waiting Lady Maud Bagshaw in the TV show and movie. During the radio interview, Staunton said: “Right. There will be... the final... film. There you go.”

Brian Cox has joined the cast of the animated holiday film That Christmas. Cox, who plays Logan Roy on Succession, will voice Santa Claus in the upcoming movie. Fiona Shaw, Jodie Whittaker and Billy Nighy will also have roles. The movie is based on the children's book series by Richard Curtis. That Christmas follows the "residents of a charming seaside town where things turn upside down one Christmas." The movie will premiere on Netflix later this year.

Ariana Grande's divorce is all sorted out now. She and her ex, Dalton Gomez, officially wrapped things up yesterday, six months after they first filed for divorce. Ariana kicked off the divorce process on September 18. Luckily, they had a prenup, so there weren't any big legal battles to deal with during these past six months. They actually settled everything back in October, but in California, there's this waiting period before it kicks in officially, so it just took effect yesterday. As part of the deal, Ariana's giving Dalton a one-time payment of $1,250,000, plus half the money from selling their LA house, and she's covering up to $25,000 of his lawyer fees.

Travis Kelce is reportedly in talks to host a reboot of “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?” - but there are questions about just how much time he could commit to the series. Kelce will return for a 12th season in Kansas City as his team goes for an unprecedented three-peat of the NFL title. But Travis may have plans off the field as well; Variety is reporting that he's in discussions to host a reboot of the hit TV show on Amazon Prime Video. However, Kelce's potential involvement in the show is not a done deal.

CBS has picked up NCIS: Sydney for a second season. The show will also return for a second year on Paramount+ Australia. NCIS: Sydney marked the first international expansion of the franchise. It debuted on Paramount+ Australia on Nov. 10, 2023, and on CBS in the U.S. and on Global in Canada on Nov. 14, 2023.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been formally offered the opportunity to play James Bond, putting an end to months of speculation regarding Daniel Craig's successor. The actor, 33, hasn’t accepted the offer yet, but should he do so he will become only the seventh actor to play Bond since the franchise launched in 1962. Aaron is known for his roles in Nocturnal Animals, Kick-Ass, Nowhere Boy and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Sun is reporting that he was offered the Bond gig. A source said: “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back.”

Tallulah Willis revealed that she's been diagnosed with autism. The 30-year-old actress and daughter of Bruce Willis shared her health discovery on Instagram over the weekend - amid her father's ongoing battle with dementia. She posted a video of her and her father, who has over the last two years been diagnosed with both frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, on the red carpet at the premiere of the actor's 2004 movie The Whole Ten Yards, which then 10-year-old Tallulah also starred in. With the post, she wrote: “Tell me [you're] autistic without telling me [you're] autistic.” Tallulah wrote: “Actually this is the first time I've ever publicly shared my diagnosis. Found out this summer and it's changed my life.”

Australia's online safety regulator has put social media giants on notice, requiring them to explain what they are doing to protect people from violent extremists and terrorists. The country's eSafety regulator just announced that it has issued legal notices to Google, Meta, X, WhatsApp, Telegram and Reddit requiring each company to report on steps they are taking to protect Australian users of their platforms from extremist material online.

Jon Bon Jovi is opening about whether he’ll be able to tour after undergoing vocal cord surgery in 2022. In a recent radio interview, the singer said that he’s still recovering from the medical procedure and can’t confirm if he’ll be able to hit the road in support of the band’s forthcoming album, Forever, which drops this summer. “I don’t know about a tour,” Bon Jovi told Mix 104.1 Boston. “It is my desire to do a tour next year, but I’m just still recovering from a major surgery.” Jon had surgery in 2022 after one of his vocal cords was atrophying — with one being “thick as the thumb” and the other being “thick as a pinky,” according to People.

“Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser paid tribute to his late mother, announcing her passing on Thursday, with an Instagram post featuring a photo of them posing next to each other on horseback while on the set of the show. “It is with a heavy heart that my mother Cass Sperling Warner passed away at the age of 76. Her kindness, love, humor and amazing spirit will be missed by not only my family but the world,” Hauser wrote in the caption. “You have touched so many. I know you will be up in the heavens sitting next to all the great humans that have passed through our earth. We will meet again. Bye for now,” he continued.

Pierce Brosnan has to cough up some cash after posting photos of himself standing on off-limits thermal areas of Yellowstone National Park last year. The actor was fined $500 and must pay $1,000 to the Yellowstone Forever Geological Fund, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Wyoming. Brosnan, who was cited in the case in December, pleaded guilty to foot travel in a thermal area, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. In November, Brosnan posted pictures of himself to Instagram standing on a Yellowstone National Park thermal feature at Mammoth Hot Springs. The National Park Service (NPS) investigated, and the case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ariel Calmes, who asked the court to sentence Brosnan to two years’ probation and the maximum $5,000 fine.

Months after winning a $2.6 million ruling against ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson has filed another lawsuit against him and his father’s management company, Starstruck Entertainment. Kelly filed the case on Monday in a Los Angeles court and argued that Starstruck violated state labor rules by acting as unlicensed talent agents who booked business deals. Reports say Kelly is seeking “any and all commissions, fees, profits, advances, producing fees or other monies” she paid to Starstruck, which is owned by Brandon’s dad, Narvel Blackstock.

Jason Bateman will star opposite Jude Law in the upcoming limited series Black Rabbit. Bateman will direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer, along with Law. The series centers on “the owner of a New York City hotspot (Law)” who “allows his turbulent brother (Bateman) back in his life.” By doing so, “he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.” No word on a release date.

Jelly Roll opened up about his tattoos in an interview with GQ. "I regret 98% of these tattoos, 97, almost all of them. Like core philosophies are rooted in my life when I was 17 and now I'm 40, I'm like, 'What the f--- was I thinking?'" he revealed…glancing down at his arms. "I hate them all," he continued. Jelly Roll shared how his tattoo journey began at age 14 with a simple cross on his right arm, marking the start of a colorful, albeit regrettable, ink collection. He added that eventually, it culminated in getting his face tattooed along with his body. Some of his tattoos, he said, he received while serving time in prison. The singer has been to jail some 40 times for various drug charges. Jelly Roll shared his least favorite tattoo: a depiction of a baby smoking a blunt. "It was a little excessive," he said. He also said that he has undergone extensive cover-ups to rectify his past tattoo choices. One notably awkward fix involved correcting a misspelled tattoo that was supposed to read "Surviving the Struggle" on his neck. "But he forgot to put the 'T' in it, so it said 'Surviving the Sruggle,'" he recounts.

HBO has renewed Real Time with Bill Maher for two more seasons. It means Maher will stay on the network through the end of 2026 and take him close to 700 episodes of the show, which launched in 2003.

Kelly Clarkson and Peyton Manning are joining the NBC Olympics team to host the Opening Ceremony of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris this summer. They’ll join Mike Tirico in the coverage along with Today show hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. The Opening Ceremony in Paris is ditching the stadium and turning the River Seine into a four-mile-long flotilla of more than 90 boats that will carry thousands of athletes from more than 200 countries. Clarkson, Manning, and Tirico will be positioned at the Trocadero near the ceremony’s finish, with views of The Seine and Eiffel Tower. NBC and Peacock will present live coverage of the Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 26, beginning at Noon ET. Primetime coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.

Max announced that Salem's Lot will premiere this year on the streaming service. The film is the third adaptation of Stephen King's book and the first single film after 1979 and 2004 TV miniseries. The film was originally scheduled for a theatrical release. Warner Brothers previously scheduled Salem's Lot to open Sept. 9, 2022. They later delayed it to April 21, 2023 before pulling it off the schedule entirely. Stephen King tweeted on Feb. 19 he had seen the movie and approved the adaptation. "Not sure why WB is holding it back; not like it's embarrassing or anything," King wrote. "Old-school horror filmmaking: slow build, big payoff."

Billy Baldwin has responded to what Sharon Stone said about her Sliver movie producer sex claims - accusing her of being “hurt he shunned her advances” and threatening to write a book about the many disturbing, kinky tales he knows about her. Billy took to X yesterday and wrote: “Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances? Sharon Stone has revealed the identity of the producer who pressured her to have sex with a co-star for the first time - as well as the actor she was pushed to get intimate with in order to help their on-screen chemistry. Stone previously addressed this situation in her 2021 memoir - without disclosing identities - but has now revealed that the producer was Robert Evans, the actor was Alec Baldwin's brother Billy, and the film was Sliver in 1993. Evans died in 2019; he was also a producer on Chinatown and The Cotton Club, and headed production at Paramount for The Godfather, The Italian Job, True Grit and The Great Gatsby. Sliver was Sharon's next movie after achieving huge success in the previous year's hit Basic Instinct. On Louis Theroux's podcast, she said: “They expected me to bring home another giant smash hit and they gave me casting approval and they gave me all these approvals, but then when it came time for me to do it they told me it was a vanity deal and I couldn't have my approvals. Then they started to try to blame me for their mistakes, and they made terrible mistakes in the way that they hired directors and cast.” She said Evans called her to his office to make the request for her to sleep with Baldwin. She said: “He called me to his office. He had these very low seventies, eighties couches, so I'm essentially sitting on the floor, when I should have been on set. And he's running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin's performance would get better.”

Pharrell Williams got upset and stormed off stage during his Saudi Arabian Grand Prix show on Saturday. He headlined the Formula 1 post-race concert alongside Alicia Keys and Martin Garrix. But Pharrell reportedly cut his set short by 15 minutes after getting angry at fans for throwing light-up wristbands on to the stage at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. He said: “This is the liveliest city right now on the planet but we have also got to be the safest. I know you guys are excited and I know you are wanting to throw your wrist gadgets and lights and all that, but you can't as the girls are dancing. And me? I love women, how about you?” “We must protect our women so if you want to throw them lights you have to throw them the other way, not at the stage. Who understands what I'm saying?” Despite his warning, the wristbands continued to fly. He then stormed off the stage.

Al Pacino says he was following the instructions of the Oscars producers when he left out the names of the best picture nominees while announcing the winner of the show's biggest category. The actor was Sunday night's final presenter and announced Oppenheimer as the best picture winner without naming the full slate of nominees. "I just want to be clear it was not my intention to omit them, rather a choice by the producers not to have them said again since they were highlighted individually throughout the ceremony. I was honored to be a part of the evening and chose to follow the way they wished for this award to be presented," Pacino said in a statement yesterday. "I realize being nominated is a huge milestone in one's life and to not be fully recognized is offensive and hurtful," Pacino said. "I say this as someone who profoundly relates with filmmakers, actors and producers so I deeply empathize with those who have been slighted by this oversight and it's why I felt it necessary to make this statement.”

Miriam Margolyes says people who are still big “Harry Potter” fans as fully functioning adults worry her a bit. The actress, who played Professor Pomona Sprout in two Harry Potter movies, did a recent interview with New Zealand's 1 News. Miriam says people that are still obsessed with the Harry Potter movies concern her because they're still acting like lil' kids. Miriam said Harry Potter is for children, and the adults still clinging to their childhood nostalgia need to get over it.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey swept the five categories it was nominated in for at the 44th annual Razzies, which “honor” the worst of filmmaking. “Winnie the Pooh” won the Razzie in the picture, director, screenplay, screen couple and remake/rip-off/sequel categories. The film, based on the beloved children’s literary character, follows Pooh and Piglet, who have become feral and bloodthirsty murderers. They terrorize a group of young university women and the returning Christopher Robin.

Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson will return for The Accountant 2, the sequel to the Gavin O’Connor-directed action thriller The Accountant, on which Amazon MGM Studios has teamed with Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity. The first Accountant starred Affleck as a highly skilled CPA with autism who leads a double life as a forensic accountant for criminal organizations. When his Christian Wolff uncovers discrepancies in a legitimate robotics company, he must navigate a dangerous web of deceit while staying one step ahead of both the law and his criminal clients.

Mike Tyson is going to square off against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on July 20 at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in an event that will air live on Netflix. The fight ostensibly will be an exhibition, though the specifics are unclear. Tyson, who will be 58 at the time of the fight, hasn’t had an official boxing match since June 11, 2005, when he lost to Kevin McBride. He did face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout on Nov. 28, 2020, in Los Angeles on a card that featured Paul viciously knocking out former Knicks guard Nate Robinson in the second round.

Hollywood's top 10 highest-paid actors list of 2023 has been revealed. Yesterday, Forbes released its official estimation of both the income each star made last year as well as their gross pay.

Here’s the list:
1. Adam Sandler
Sandler came in at the very top of the list, making $73 million in 2023 and an estimated $97 million gross.

2. Margot Robbie
The actress and producer brought in some $59 million and $78 million gross. She is the youngest actor on the list and roughly $60 million of her gross comes from a portion of her Barbie contract.

3. Tom Cruise
Cruise is still cashing in on 2022's Top Gun: Maverick and benefiting from the release of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1, which hit theaters last July. For the actor, the films helped him to bring in $45 million and $53 million gross.

4. Ryan Gosling (tie)
Gosling and Robbie are separated by $16 million. According to Forbes, the actor made $43 million -- $50 million gross -- in 2023. He has also benefited greatly from his hit song from the film, "I'm Just Ken."

4. Matt Damon (tie)
Between Air -- produced by his and Ben Affleck's Artists Equity studio -- and his starring role in 2023's other big box-office hit, Oppenheimer, Damon also made $43 million in 2023. Despite the star taking well below his normal rate for the latter film -- $4 million -- he still made $50 million gross throughout the year.

6. Jennifer Aniston
Her roles in projects like The Morning Show and Murder Mystery 2 and her brand deals with Uber Eats and Vital Proteins helped her to make $42 million last year -- with a gross of $56 million.
7. Leonardo DiCaprio (tie)
With just one project in 2023 -- Killers of the Flower Moon -- Leo managed to bring in $41 million and $49 million gross.

7. Jason Statham (tie)
The star tied with DiCaprio when it comes to his pay in 2023. The actor starred in and produced Fast X, Meg 2: The Trench and Expend4bles, as well as Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre. His total pay was $41 million and gross pay hit $49 million.

9. Ben Affleck
Affleck earned a good chunk of money from the sale of Air to Prime Video, in which he also co-starred and directed. After making $45 million gross, Ben walked away with $38 million in 2023.

10. Denzel Washington
Assisted greatly by the release of The Equalizer 3, Denzel made $24 million in 2023 with a gross pay of $28 million. Forbes also notes that another chunk of his salary comes from his backlog of films and television shows over the last four decades.

In a new interview with Marie Claire, Kirsten Dunst shared that every role she was being offered was the sad mom in the two years that followed her Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her performance in 2021's The Power of the Dog. In The Power of the Dog, Dunst appeared as a woman named Rose who marries a wealthy cattle rancher (played by her husband, Jesse Plemons). Despite the film's success, Dunst told Marie Claire that she felt frustrated with the offers that followed, explaining her absence from the screen before starring in director Alex Garland's new drama, Civil War. "To be honest, that's been hard for me...because I need to feed myself. The hardest thing is being a mom and...not feeling like, I have nothing for myself," Dunst said of that two-year time gap. "That's every mother — not just me." "There's definitely less good roles for women my age," she added, sharing that the dearth of quality parts is part of the reason why she turned toward Civil War. In that movie, she plays a photojournalist desperately trying to cover — and survive — a war-torn United States.

Tim Allen is returning to ABC with a new sitcom. The network has handed a pilot order to a family comedy headlined by the actor. The show is tentatively titled Shifting Gears. The show centers on Matt (Allen), a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.

Garrison Brown, son of Sister Wives stars Janelle and Kody Brown, has died at the age of 25. Janelle confirmed the news on Instagram yesterday. She wrote: "Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory." Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department confirmed: "On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home." The FPD confirmed that Garrison's brother Gabriel, 22, "discovered Mr. Brown deceased" in an apparent suicide. Fans were first introduced to Garrison in 2010 alongside his various siblings, his mother Janelle and his father Kody's other wives — Meri, Christine and Robyn Brown — in the TLC series documenting the polygamist family's day-to-day life.

Apple Original Films is putting together quite the cast for Jonah Hill‘s dark comedy Outcome. Cameron Diaz is in talks to co-star opposite Keanu Reeves — who is also in final negotiations — in the pic, which Hill will direct. Outcome follows Reef (Reeves), a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip. An Apple Studios production, the film will be produced by Matt Dines, Ali Goodwin and Hill under their Strong Baby banner.

Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks star Captain Charlie Griffin died in a boating accident on Monday. The reality TV and his dog Leila died near Pea Island in Dare County, North Carolina. The announcement was made this week on Facebook. “It is with the deepest sadness we report that Charlie Griffin and his beloved dog, Leila, have passed away in a boating accident today, March 4th,” the message said. “Please keep family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. We will forever remember Griff!” The US Coast Guard also posted a message regarding Charlie's death. “On the morning of 3/4/24, the US Coast Guard received a report of an overdue vessel traveling from Virginia to Wanchese, NC,” the statement began. “The 35′ vessel was subsequently located off Pea Island and the body of Charles Griffin Jr (Charlie Griffin) of Wanchese, NC and his dog (deceased) were recovered onshore near the same. The vessel appears to have capsized somewhere near Oregon Inlet.” Fierce currents and extreme weather conditions have made the Oregon inlet one of the most difficult waterways on the East Coast. Officers are still searching for a second occupant that was aboard the vessel. Griffin and the crew of his boat starred in episodes two through five of Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks. Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks used to be named Wicked Tuna: North vs. South. It’s a reality TV show about commercial tuna fishermen based in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. On the show, the men fish for Atlantic bluefin tuna.

Reps for the estate of Sinéad O’Connor said the late singer would have been “disgusted, hurt, and insulted” at her version of Nothing Compares 2 U being played at political rallies hosted by Donald Trump. In a joint statement also signed by O’Connor’s longtime label Chrysalis Records, the singer’s estate demanded Trump “desist from using her music immediately.” “Throughout her life, it is well known that Sinéad O’Connor lived by a fierce moral code defined by honesty, kindness, fairness, and decency towards her fellow human beings,” the statement read. “It was with outrage therefore that we learned that Donald Trump has been using her iconic performance of Nothing Compares 2 U at his political rallies.” The statement continued: “It is no exaggeration to say that Sinéad would have been disgusted, hurt, and insulted to have her work misrepresented in this way by someone who she herself referred to as a ‘biblical devil.’ “As the guardians of her legacy, we demand that Donald Trump and his associates desist from using her music immediately.”

Rumors of a Freaky Friday sequel starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis have been circulating for years and it looks like a movie is finally happening. While being interviewed on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Lohan confirmed that a follow-up to the 2003 film was in the works. “I won’t say that yet. I don’t want to say too much,” Lohan said after he asked if there was a timeline for production to start on the film. She added, “We are both excited. I’m gonna speak for Jamie.”

Jamie Foxx is ready to turn tragedy into comedy. He revealed at the African American Film Critics Association awards luncheon on Sunday that he plans to share details about his mysterious 2023 health scare in his stand-up. "Everybody wants to know what happened, and I'm going to tell you what happened, but I gotta do it in my way," Foxx said. "I'm gonna do it in a funny way." He indicated he would share these details on stage after returning to his "stand-up roots," adding, "I'll tell you in my way." Jamie was hospitalized last year after experiencing what his family described as a "medical complication." He never provided details about what led to his hospitalization, but he has since stepped back into the public eye.

Billie Eilish is a Batman fan — so much so, it once led to her ending a relationship. The singer and her brother Finneas joined Amelia Dimoldenberg on the Oscars edition of her popular Chicken Shop Date series, called Amelia’s Oscars Nominees Pre-Luncheon Luncheon. While discussing whether or not “Ocean Eyes” was written about Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy, Eilish interjected that “Batman is the one” for her. After admitting that she doesn’t “really know much about superheroes,” she is particularly fond of Christian Bale, who played Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins in 2005, The Dark Knight in 2008 and The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. “I gotta be real,” she said. “A couple of years ago, I had a dream about Christian Bale and it was in a little café in the sunlight and it made me realize I had to break up with my boyfriend at the time. A woman suing Sean Diddy Combs for sexual assault has been ordered to reveal her identity. In a new filing, a judge ruled yesterday that Jane Doe — who claims that the music mogul and his longtime collaborator Harve Pierre, along with a third unidentified man, sex trafficked and gang raped her when she was 17 in 2003 — must include her real name in court documents if the case proceeds.

Superman: Legacy is now just Superman, director and DC studio chief James Gunn revealed. “Overjoyed to be announcing the start of principal photography on SUPERMAN today, February 29, which just so happens to be – coincidentally and unplanned – Superman’s birthday,” Gunn wrote on Instagram. “When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy. By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was SUPERMAN. Making our way to you July 2025.”

Bradley Cooper isn't sure if he would be alive if it wasn't for his daughter, although he didn't feel quite so strongly when she was first born. Cooper opened up about parenthood on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast, recalling the moment he realized he loved his 6-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, so much that he would die for her. This realization came about eight months after she was born, Cooper said "If I'm being honest, the first eight months, I'm like, 'I don't even know if I really love the kid,'" he said. "It's dope. It's cool. I'm watching this thing morph. (I'm) fascinated by it. Love taking care of it. (But) would I die if someone came in with a gun?" Bradley recalled realizing "all of a sudden" that he would die for Lea "no question." After becoming a parent, "Your DNA is going to tell you that there's something more important than you," he said.
