Taylor Swift Fans Writing In Singers Name For President

Taylor Swift fans are sparking backlash for writing in the singer on the 2024 presidential election ballot. A number of Swifties have taken to social media to post their ballots for the singer, writing-in the singer over official candidates like Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, and Jill Stein. “First time voter and I couldn't bring myself to vote for any of the candidates presented on the ballot. Thinking about all Taylor has done for the US economy these last few years I decided to #Vote for Miss Americana herself,” one fan wrote. Another wrote, “I'm so excited that I'm finally able to vote cause I can't think of anyone more deserving. We should start a hashtag for this #SwiftiesForPresidentTaylor.” The posts outraged many of Taylor's more liberal fans, who felt that the votes would be better used going to Kamala.

ABC Station Mistakenly Airs Election Results Declaring Harris Winner Of Key Swing State

An ABC station aired what appeared to be official election results for Pennsylvania that showed Kamala Harris easily winning the key swing state — more than a week before Election Day. The result popped up at the bottom of the screen during Sunday’s broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix by ABC local affiliate WNEP-TV, which services the northern part of the Keystone State. It showed Harris capturing 52% of the votes, compared to 47% for Donald Trump, with 100% of the precincts reporting. The graphic caused a stir on social media, prompting claims of election rigging. One user posted on X: “The cheat is on.” WNEP-TV said that the results came up on the screen in “error” and that they had been “randomly generated” as part of a test ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

50 Cent Claims Trump Team Offered Him Millions To Perform At MSG Rally

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has said he was offered $3 million by Donald Trump’s re-election campaign to perform at the former president’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday. 50 Cent made the claim during an appearance on Charlamagne Tha God’s morning show The Breakfast Club with DJ Envy. “I got a call, but they wanted me for Sunday,” 50 said when asked by Envy if there was any truth to online rumors that he’d received calls from Donald Trump’s team about a paid endorsement. “They offered three million dollars to do it,” 50 Cent continued before confirming that he was also offered money to perform at the Republic National Convention, but turned it down because he prefers to steer clear of politics. “I didn’t even go far into it. I didn’t even want to talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid of politics,” the rapper said. “I do not like no part of politics. It’s no gangbanging and no politics.”

Jennifer Lopez has been accused of attending and participating in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ now-infamous “freak-off” parties during their time as a couple. Ojani Noa, J.Lo’s first husband, took to social media to distance himself from any connection to Combs’ “freak-off” parties, but claimed that the singer was one of multiple celebrities present at those affairs. In a post on Instagram, Noa shared a list of stars who’ve allegedly attended Diddy’s parties, one being Lopez, whom Combs dated during the late ’90s and early ’00s. “I’M NOT ON THE LIST,” Noa captioned the post. “To those people and media outlets asking if I ever went or participated in that Piece of Sh*t (DIDDY’S) Freak-Off Parties. Bruce Springsteen Breaks Silence Over Whether He Is Really A Billionaire

Bruce Springsteen is shutting down the buzz around his bank account, saying the billionaire label just doesn’t fit. Forbes recently pegged his net worth over $1.1 billion, but Springsteen told The Telegraph: “I’m not a billionaire. I wish I was, but they got that real wrong.” Despite a $500 million music catalog sale in 2021 and a $379.5 million tour with the E Street Band this year, The Boss admits he’s spent too much money on superfluous things, trimming down his fortune. On top of that, Springsteen noted that he makes sure to fairly compensate those he makes music with. “I pay a tremendous amount of money to my band,” he shared, claiming it's a key to his success.

Washington Post Owner Jeff Bezos Defends Paper's Decision To Not Back 2024 Candidate

Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos defended his publication’s decision not to back a presidential candidate ahead of the Nov. 5 election, insisting political endorsements “create a perception of bias.” Bezos broke his silence on the matter in an op-ed published by the Washington Post last night. He argued that his newspaper ending its long-running practice of endorsing a candidate for the White House is a “principled decision, and it’s the right one.” “Presidential endorsements do nothing to tip the scales of an election. No undecided voters in Pennsylvania are going to say, ‘I’m going with Newspaper A’s endorsement.’ None,” he wrote.

Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny And Ricky Martin React To Remark About Puerto Rico During Trump Rally

Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin responded to a crazy comment about Puerto Rico at Donald Trump's MSG rally by endorsing Kamala Harris. The pop stars were just some of the celebs to throw their support behind Harris after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe compared the Caribbean Island to garbage during Trump's rally yesterday. While poking fun at celebrity Democrats, Hinchcliffe's comment about Puerto Rico even stunned the MAGA faithful in the world's most famous arena. “There's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it's called Puerto Rico,” he said. The joke received a tepid response from the crowd, and widespread condemnation from Democrats, Republicans and even Trump's own campaign. A series of Puerto Rican stars responded by endorsing Harris and sharing her plans for the American territory. Ricky Martin, the Puerto Rican singer, wrote on socials: “This is what they think of us. Vote for @kamalaharris.” Jennifer Lopez shared the video and multiple slides showing Harris' Puerto Rico policy to 250 million followers. The video shared by Bad Bunny on Instagram shows Harris saying “there’s so much at stake in this election for Puerto Rican voters and for Puerto Rico.” A rep for the artist confirmed that Bad Bunny is supporting Harris.

Eva Longoria Quietly Invested $6 Million In "John Wick" When Funding Fell Through

We can thank Eva Longoria for one of the highest-grossing movie franchises of the last decade. In return, they would be the first to get paid back. The deal ultimately resulted in Longoria’s first major producer credit. “She came to the rescue, and she provided the gap financing, literally less than 24 hours before we had to lock the doors on the movie and walk away,” added Stahelski.

I sound like such a snob, but I'm sorry, just put on a pair of pants, wear a belt, get a nice pair of shoes. It doesn't cost a lot of money to dress nicely."

Bill Maher, HBO Sued By Laura Loomer After Real Time Host Implies That She Might Be Sleeping With Trump

Laura Loomer has filed a defamation lawsuit against Bill Maher and HBO after the Real Time host implied that the former Florida congressional candidate was involved in an extramarital affair with Donald Trump. The suit stems from comments made during the Sept. 13 episode of Real Time. “I think maybe Laura Loomer’s in an arranged relationship to affect the election because she’s very close to Trump,” Maher said. “She’s 31, looks like his type. We did an editorial here a few years ago… it was basically, who’s Trump f–king? Because I said, you know, it’s not nobody. He’s been a dog for too long, and it’s not Melania. I think we may have our answer this week. I think it might be Laura Loomer.” The complaint argues that the defendants, “as alleged herein, broadcasted numerous false, misleading and defamatory statements to severely harm and damage” the plaintiff, and that these “false and misleading statements were broadcasted with actual malice, as Defendants knew that they were false and misleading, and/or at a minimum acted and published with a reckless disregard for the truth.” Loomer is seeking $150 million plus punitive damages.

Eva Mendes Slams Kellogg's Over Cancer-Causing Ingredients In Its Children's Cereals

Eva Mendes has demanded the removal of harmful food dyes in popular children's cereals. The actress took to Instagram last week to warn about artificial dyes in Kellogg's cereals like Froot Loops. Dyes such as red 40 and yellow 5 have been banned in several European countries for their links to hyperactivity and cancer but continue to persist in US versions. The brand promised to remove artificial colors and ingredients from all of its cereals nearly a decade ago by 2018 but has yet to deliver on that promise. Mendes called on Kellogg's to remove these dyes and urged her social media followers to join a peaceful march to Kellogg's HQ. That protest took place Tuesday outside of the cereal giant's Michigan headquarters, where dozens of activists delivered a petition with nearly 400,000 signatures. On Instagram, Mendes wrote: “I grew up on cereal. I still love it but I won't eat @kelloggsus anymore after I found out that so many of the ingredients they use here in the US are BANNED in other countries. Why? Because they’re harmful for children.”

Jeopardy! Host Ken Jennings At Risk Of Being Axed In Effort To Boost Ratings

Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings could be axed for a rather surprising reason as Colin Jost is set to host Pop Culture Jeopardy! Ken is at risk of being replaced, according to sources for The Mirror. They report that rumors suggest that the producers of the show aren't sure they will keep the current host as they are weighing their options. One reason given for the possible change-up is ratings as Wheel Of Fortune's viewership has spiked since Ryan Seacrest took over the hosting job last month. Jeopardy! executives are said to have taken note of the higher ratings since Ryan took the reins. This comes weeks after it was revealed that there is a possibility that Jost takes over for Jennings to host the actual flagship.

You’re too smart to be a gangster. What’s your favorite [school] subject?” Denzel then guessed that his favorite subjects were math and science before asking the child if he wanted to be a doctor. When the young reporter confirmed he wanted to be in the medical field Denzel responded: “It’s better to be a doctor than a gangster. Okay? Never want to be a gangster.”

Donald Trump Rails About "The Apprentice" Movie

In a new post on Truth Social, Donald Trump weighed in the movie The Apprentice, calling it a “cheap, defamatory and politically disgusting hatchet job.” Back in May, Trump threatened to sue over the movie, with his attorneys filing a cease and desist demand. That may have delayed the ability of the producers to obtain a distributor, but once they did, Trump and his team have yet to file any litigation. The Apprentice is about the early days of Trump in 1970s and 80s Manhattan, where Roy Cohn teaches his “apprentice” how to fight back against a federal lawsuit alleging that Trump and his father engaged in discrimination against Black applicants seeking to rent housing from them. The most objectionable scene appears to be one where Trump (Sebastian Stan) sexually assaults his then-wife Ivana. The scene is based on one of Ivana Trump’s depositions, which she later said was made during a period of “high tension” during their divorce proceedings and “totally without merit”.

Garth Brooks' Rape Accuser Submits Explicit Texts Into Evidence

Garth Brooks' accuser shared a sexually explicit text message he allegedly sent her, as she slammed the singer for publicly naming her in his countersuit. Brooks was accused of sexual assault and battery in a complaint filed last week by a makeup artist who worked for his wife Trisha Yearwood. She filed anonymously as “Jane Roe.” As part of her lawsuit she included an alleged screenshot of text messages between the two. “And that huge stick you carry! Roo-sevelt!!” the plaintiff allegedly wrote in a redacted text featured in the lawsuit. “I'll take that nick-name. Thank you. I love you,” Brooks allegedly replied, with laughing and heart emojis. According to the court docs, Garth allegedly “used more than one cell phone, and sometimes would use different names and email addresses to communicate with Ms. Roe. He would tell Ms. Roe ahead of time that it would be him sending her communications, under a different name.” In the plaintiff's filing she also claims Garth allegedly “encouraged Ms. Roe to speak in a sexualized manner to him” like in the text screenshot. “[Garth] sent [Jane] sexually explicit text messages and pressured her to engage in sexting with him,” the lawsuit read. She also claims that although Brooks thought he deleted “everything on Ms. Roe’s phone,” some of their alleged texts remain on her phone.

What’s wrong with you?” Over the past few weeks, Justin’s past friendship with Combs has been scrutinized after the Bad Boy Records founder’s alleged crimes came to light.

Supreme Court Declines To Hear X's Appeal Of Warrant For Trump's Records

Yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal from X asking justices to decide if prosecutors should have been able to obtain data from Donald Trump's Twitter account notifying him. The case was part of special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into Trump over alleged interference in 2020 presidential election. The Supreme Court had slowed the case after issuing a separate ruling saying that presidents have broad immunity from prosecution for official acts while in office. Smith sought a warrant for Trump's info and a nondisclosure order preventing X from telling Trump about its investigation because of the potential of evidence being destroyed. A federal judge sided with Smith, but X continued to resist, leading to $350,000 in civil penalties before relenting. The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. upheld the lower court's decision, and X appealed to the Supreme Court. "The Fourth Amendment permits the government to obtain a warrant to search property belonging to an innocent third party as long as the warrant is supported by probable cause that 'evidence of a crime will be found,'" the special counsel said in its arguments.
