NBC Cancels On Brand With Jimmy Fallon After One Season Amid Poor Ratings

Jimmy Fallon just took a rare ratings hit: NBC has canceled his business reality series On Brand With Jimmy Fallon after one season. The show featured Fallon acting as head of a fictional marketing agency called On Brand, where contestants competed to come up with creative advertising campaigns for major companies. Fallon created, hosted and executive produced the series, which NBC hoped would blend reality competition with Madison Avenue-style branding. Joining Fallon on the show was Bozoma Saint John, the former executive from companies including Uber, Pepsi and Netflix. She served as the agency’s Chief Marketing Officer, mentoring contestants and critiquing their pitches. The series lasted eight episodes during fall 2025 and included appearances from brands like Dunkin’, Samsung, Sonic Drive-In and Southwest, along with a cameo from Jennifer Garner. According to reports, the show struggled with ratings from the start. Its rollout bounced between Tuesday and Friday time slots and also got pushed around once NBA coverage entered the schedule. That’s usually TV code for: “We believe in this show… just not enough to keep it in one place.”
