Foo Fighters To Take A Hiatus As Dave Grohl Works To Earn Families Trust

Foo Fighters are going to take a hiatus as Dave Grohl works to earn back the trust of his family amid his affair scandal. The frontman shocked fans earlier this month when he confessed to cheating on wife of 21 years Jordyn Blum and welcoming a baby girl with an as-yet unnamed woman. Following the news the band canceled an upcoming gig at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut over the weekend. Now, reports are suggesting that they’re going to take a break as they navigate the aftermath of a turbulent few years. AirBnB Offers Prince's 'Purple Rain' House To Rent For $7 Per Person

Prince fans will be given the opportunity to live how the singer lived, for a small fee. Lisa and Wendy of The Revolution band have restored Prince's childhood home in Minneapolis and are making it available on Airbnb from October 26 to December 14. Over the 25 consecutive nights, fans will be allowed to book a one-night stay, with up to four guests for $7 per person – a nod to the former musician's favorite number. The downstairs of Prince's childhood home has purple velvet wallpaper and a ‘80s stereo preloaded with songs "that inspired The Kid," according to the press release. The "spa," or bathroom, is decorated similar to the "When Doves Cry" music video. There is a claw-foot bathtub for guests to enjoy. There is a "muse lounge" in Prince's home with instruments, including a drum set and a guitar. Lisa and Wendy will provide instructions for guests to play the iconic "Purple Rain" along with a pre-recorded tape of Prince singing the song himself. Prince fans are in for a surprise, if they can find the secret room within the house. The Airbnb will provide a fake vinyl album for guests to find, with clues on where the secret door is hidden. If guests can find the door, the room is "filled with treasures."

Kamala Harris Responds To Trump's Claims She Never Worked At McDonald's

Yesterday, Kamala Harris repeated her claim that she worked at McDonald's, despite Donald Trump repeatedly accusing her of lying about it. Harris was asked about her job at McDonalds during an MSNBC interview with correspondent Stephanie Ruhle, who asked her if she wanted to ask her about a “little job.” “There's no such thing as a little job,” Harris said. Ruhle referred to an old McDonald's television jingle during her question by asking Harris if she had ever served “two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions...” “...and a sesame seed bun,” Harris said as she completed the jingle. “I have,” Harris said. “But it was not a small job, like, I did the fries. I mean, you know, I did.” Harris said that she liked to talk about people working at McDonald's because of the difficulties that employees had with the difficulties of trying to raise a family on the limited wages offered by the fast food chain. “Part of the reason I even talk about working McDonald's is because There are people who work at McDonalds in our country who are trying to raise a family ... I worked there as a student, I was a kid,” she said.

Suge Knight Names Powerful Music Execs Who Allegedly Used Drugs, Alcohol and Sex To Control Diddy, Usher And Justin Bieber

Suge Knight, who is serving 28 years behind bars for running over and killing a man, appeared on News Nation on Tuesday. He named powerful music execs who allegedly used drugs, alcohol and sex to control Diddy, Usher and Justin Bieber. Suge, the former CEO of Death Row Records, said his artists used to only smoke weed but allegedly got into heavier drugs once they were signed to other record labels. “Those guys … they introduced cocaine to my artists,” Knight told host Chris Cuomo in a phone call from prison. “So once they got on cocaine, once they got on drugs, once they got on alcohol, then that’s when the weird stuff happened. I think that’s what took Puffy [Combs] down that lane.” Suge said Clive Davis, Russell Simmons and Andre Harrell used “alcohol, drugs” to “compromise” Combs’ “manhood.” “[Combs] was taught that. He got Usher as a kid … alcohol, drugs, sex. Justin Bieber — and see they do these things to take control. … You choose to be gay that’s your preference, but they’re doing this to people for control,” Knight further claimed in the interview. Davis, Simmons and Harrell have never been charged with the allegations made by Knight.

Brett Favre Tells Congress He's Been Diagnosed With Parkinson's

Brett Favre said he's been diagnosed with Parkinson's, a disclosure made to Congress yesterday while testifying about his potential misuse of taxpayer money. Favre, appearing before the House Ways and Means Committee, has been accused of improperly using political connections to redirect public money to his alma mater and his own pocket. "Sadly, I also lost an investment in a company that I believed was developing a breakthrough concussion drug I thought would help others, and I’m sure you’ll understand why it’s too late for me because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s," Favre told lawmakers. "This is also a cause dear to my heart. Recently, the doctor, running the company pleaded guilty to taking (public) money for his own use." Coke Didn't Cut Ties With Taylor Swift Over Harris Endorsement

A Sept. 16 Facebook post shows side-by-side images of Taylor Swift and a Coca-Cola sign. “Coca-Cola Cuts Ties With Taylor Swift Over Harris Endorsement, ‘We Don’t Support Her Endorsement,’" the post’s caption reads in part. The post was shared more than 1,800 times in three days. Versions of the claim also circulated widely on Instagram and on Threads. The claim originated on a satirical account. There is no credible evidence Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris had any effect on her relationship with the soft drink company.

Lorne Michaels Isn't Leaving Saturday Night Live After Season 50, After All

Lorne Michaels, who created “Saturday Night Live” and has overseen its creative trajectory since the show’s 1975 debut, confirmed that he plans to stay at the show beyond its upcoming 50th season — a milestone he previously said would be his swan song. “[SNL is] always going to be described the same way, which is ‘uneven,’ and yet people have decided somehow that it’s important,” Michaels said in a new Hollywood Reporter interview. “And so as long as it’s important and I can be useful, I’ll stay.”

Lady Gaga Reveals Why She Never Addressed Rumors She Was A Man

Lady Gaga didn’t feel that fixing the rumor that she was a man was in the best interest of others. Gaga revealed why she consistently dodged questions about the claim during the early years of her career. “The reason I didn’t answer the question was because I didn’t feel like a victim with that lie,” Gaga told Bill Gates in his new series, “What’s Next? The Future With Bill Gates,” which dropped on Netflix yesterday. “But I thought about, what about a kid that’s being accused of that, that would think that a public figure like me would feel shame.” Gaga said the rumor began in the 2010s after an altered image of herself went viral online. “There was this imagery on the internet that had been doctored and they were like, ‘You know there’s this rumor that you’re a man. What do you have to say about that?'” Gaga recalled. During her rise to fame, the singer tried to change the narrative when asked the question. “I’ve been in situations where fixing a rumor was not in the best interest of other people,” Gaga told Gates. “So in that case, I tried to be thought-provoking and disruptive in another way. I tried to use the misinformation to create another disruptive point.”

Cardi B Vows To Fight Non-Payment Lawsuit

Cardi B said she’ll fight a non-payment lawsuit launched against her. The rapper and her estranged husband Offset were accused of not paying the location fee for her Like What (Freestyle) music video. Court documents show the owner of a mansion in Beverly Hills had accused the two of not paying the rental fee for the property. However, Cardi said the lawsuit is a waste of time. "We paid those people $10,000 IN CASH to rent the property for a whole 24 hours that same day 6 am to 6 am the next morning," she wrote on X. "We went over by ONE hour which we paid overage fees to the realtor for in March. There were cameras all over and both the realtors and the owners were there the ENTIRE time. I got pics and videos of them on set!" She went on to dispute other elements of the lawsuit before instructing the property owner to "put on your best suit" for court.

NFL Legend Brett Favre Aims Dig At Taylor Swift For Her Endorsement Of Trump

NFL legend Brett Favre has aimed a subtle dig at Taylor Swift after the singer endorsed Kamala Harris in the presidential election last week. Favre also praised Patrick Mahomes after the Kansas City Chiefs star opted against stating his political allegiances. Favre, who endorsed Donald Trump in 2020, replied to a video of Mahomes staying neutral on politics by aiming a shot at Swift. He posted on X: “Good take by Mahomes — I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain't clear and they're easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it's not going to be a good thing.” Many were quick to call out Favre's hypocrisy after he used his platform to endorse Trump in 2020. Writing on X in October 2020, he said: “My Vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech and religion, the second amendment, hard-working tax-paying citizens, police and military. In this election, we have freedom of choice, which all should respect. For me and these principles, my vote is for [Donald Trump].”

ABC News Knocks Down Debate Conspiracy Theories Being Pushed By Prominent Trump Boosters

ABC News knocked down several conspiracy theories from supporters of Donald Trump that last week’s debate was rigged in favor of Kamala Harris, after a dubious “affidavit” filled with outlandish allegations about the news network made its way around social media. Over the weekend, a document — which was filled with wild claims, contradictions and typos — went viral on Twitter/X. It claimed that an unnamed whistleblower who worked at ABC News was to reveal an agreement that Harris was not only given debate questions ahead of time, but that only Trump would be fact-checked by moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis, among other claims. Despite how dubious the document appeared, and the fact that it came out of nowhere and had no name attached to it, several prominent figures on the right promoted the story on social media, including billionaire Bill Ackman, Twitter/X owner Elon Musk, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and Benny Johnson (who was revealed to be involved with Russian state media’s propaganda scheme). A couple of them demanded that ABC be subject to consequences and answer for these baseless accusations. ABC News has responded. The network issued a complete denial that there were any shenanigans ahead of the debate in a concise statement. The network said they followed the debate rules that both campaigns agreed on and which clearly state: No topics or questions will be shared in advance with campaigns or candidates.

Charlie Hunnam To Play Ed Gein In Next 'Monster' Series From Ryan Murphy

Charlie Hunnam is the latest star of Ryan Murphy’s Monster series. The actor will play the role of serial killer Ed Gein in the third season of the show. Murphy announced the news at the Los Angeles premiere of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story on Monday. Production begins in October. Gein — who was from Wisconsin — became popular in the 1950s after he was found to have killed multiple people and dug up graves near his home. He then used the corpses to make household items and clothing.

Sean Combs Denied Bail

Sean "Diddy" Combs was denied bail at a hearing yesterday and will remain in federal detention on charges including racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. He was arrested at a Manhattan hotel Monday night. Judge Robyn Tarnofsky told him her concern was that "this is a crime that happens behind closed doors, even when pretrial services is monitoring." Combs' lawyers had proposed home detention with a $50 million bond, secured by property including Combs' Miami mansion. Prosecutors argued that Combs was a flight risk, and that he could intimidate witnesses in the case if he was released on bond.

Miley Cyrus Is Sued Over Her Song Flowers For Allegedly Copying Bruno Mars Hit

Miley Cyrus is being sued for copyright infringement over her 2023 song Flowers. She was hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit for allegedly copying Bruno Mars earlier hit When I Was Your Man, which was released in 2013. However, it's not Mars suing Cyrus, but rather Tempo Music Investments. In the lawsuit, Tempo Music accused Cyrus of intentionally copying When I Was Your Man in Flowers due to the significant similarities between the two songs. The investment company claims that Flowers features a similar melody and harmonies to the earlier song, both in the verses and in the chorus. It alleges that the chord progressions used on Cyrus' tune — which she is credited for writing with Aldae (real name: Gregory Hein) and Michael Pollack — are similar to progressions on Mars' song, and it also claims that some of the song's lyrics are similar to those on When I Was Your Man, which was written by Mars with Philip Lawrence, Ari Levin and Andrew Wyatt. The investment firm is requesting damages from Cyrus, though it's unclear if it has specified a requested amount yet. They’re also requesting that she and her label be barred from distributing Flowers, which might entail removing it from digital and future physical versions of her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation, and the firm is also requesting that Cyrus be barred from ever again performing the popular song.

YouTube streamer Valkyrae, 32, appeared Friday in a Hot Ones-inspired segment opposite fellow YouTuber JasonTheWeen, where she was asked about the worst celebrity experience she's had. Valkyrae, whose real name is Rachell Marie Hofstetter, replied, “So, Minecraft movie - I have a cameo in the Minecraft movie that's coming out - I would have to say Jason Momoa.” Valkyrae claimed that she saw Jason mistreat some of the crew during production of the flick. “It was pretty disappointing,” Valkyrae said. “It was after a very intense scene - and it was a very emotional scene - so maybe he was still in character, I don’t know. I was just surprised about how he treated some of the crew.” Valkyrae said Momoa’s conduct made for a toxic workspace. “I was like man, this is not a good work environment, I would not be happy working under these conditions,” Valkyrae said. “I would have to say that was the worst celebrity thing I've seen.”

Demi Moore opened up about ex-hubby Bruce Willis’ health, sharing an update that he is in a stable place. Demi appeared on Friday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, and the two talked about their previous work on 2003’s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, in which Willis has a cameo role. Moore, who was married to the Die Hard actor from 1987 to 2000, said, “Given the givens, he is in a stable place.” She continued, “What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment.” Moore and Willis share children Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis. “And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness,” Moore explained. “When I’m in L.A., I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share.” In 2022, it was announced that Bruce would be stepping away from his acting career following a diagnosis of aphasia, a condition that affects the way one communicates. Shark Tank Star Kevin O'Leary Slams Workers For Stupid Daily Habit

Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary slammed office workers for spending money on takeout coffee and lunches. “Stop buying coffee for $5.50. You got to work and spend $15 on a sandwich – what are you, an idiot?,” O'Leary said in a video on his Instagram page. He urged workers to kick the habit and save thousands of dollars. “It costs 99 cents to make a sandwich at home and bring it with you,” he said. “You start to add that up every day, it's a ton of money. Most people, particularly working in metropolitan cities, are just starting on their job, making their first $60,000, [and they] piss away about $15,000 a year on stupid stuff, and that's what they should stop doing.”

Will Ferrell Regrets Janet Reno 'SNL' Impersonation

Will Ferrell is reflecting on his Saturday Night Live impersonations and has some regrets. Will impersonated Janet Reno on SNL, dressing up as her for some laughs. “That’s something I wouldn’t choose to do now,” Ferrell said during an interview with The New York Times podcast alongside former SNL head writer Harper Steele. Ferrell said the character “hits a false note now,” with Steele adding, “This kind of bums me out. I understand the laugh is a drag laugh. It’s, ‘Hey, look at this guy in a dress, and that’s funny.’ It’s absolutely not funny.” Steele continued, “It’s absolutely a way that we should be able to live in the world. However, with performers and actors, I do like a sense of play.”

Matt Damon Shut Down Jennifer Lopez As They Were Pictured Holding Hands At Unstoppable Movie Premiere

Matt Damon refused to talk to Jennifer Lopez about Ben Affleck at the after party for their new film Unstoppable, according to sources, who claim the actor made it clear that he will always have Ben's back. Lopez and Damon were seen holding hands during a private moment at the event held at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday night. JLo and Matt had their heads close together and looked serious as they engaged in a reported 20 minute conversation. Lopez wanted to talk to Matt about her estranged husband in the wake of their divorce, but Damon was reportedly not having any of it. “Matt Damon shut down any attempt that JLo made to discuss Ben at the premiere,” a source told DailyMail. “It was her timing that was so awkward because she would have known that pulling Matt aside at the event to have an intimate talk was going to get picked up and go viral.”

Trump Thanks Brittany Mahomes For Defending Him

Yesterday, Donald Trump thanked Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, for “defending him” after her apparent online support for him set social media abuzz last month. On Truth Social, Trump said it was nice to see that “beautiful” Brittany Mahomes “wants to save” the United States “from DOOM.” “What a great couple,” Trump said of the Mahomeses. “See you both at the Super Bowl!” The statement will raise eyebrows among Taylor Swift fans given the singer’s close relationship with the Mahomeses since dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Brittany got people talkin’ last month when her Instagram account liked (and later unliked) a Trump post outlining his 2024 platform. Seemingly in response to backlash to her Instagram activity, Mahomes condemned haters: “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.” She seemed to double down by liking a pro-Trump comment on one of her posts.

Travis Kelce's Team Call In Lawyers Over Leaked Contract That Claimed To Reveal Date Of Break Up With Taylor

Travis Kelce’s reps were forced to deny that the couple has plans to split later this month after a document written on the headed paper of his US PR company was spread online. The paperwork which appears to have been created by Los Angeles-based firm Full Scope, reveals a strategy to make their split, and says the date for an announcement is September 28. It also outlines a supposed plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days post-break up to allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity. It adds that the announcement will be “gracious, respectful and stress mutual respect.” The paperwork also states that the announcement would focus on Travis’ personal growth by framing the breakup as a natural part of life. It also will highlight his commitment to his career and his ongoing achievements in the sports industry. Last night, a spokesman for Full Scope said they were “entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency.” The rep also said they have called in lawyers - though they are not expected to find the culprit.

Licensing Disagreement Forces Disney TV Channels, Including ESPN, Off DirecTV

Disney's television channels, including ESPN and eight of its local ABC affiliates, remained blacked out early yesterday on DirecTV. Sunday night, the blockage went into effect when the two companies failed to come to terms on a new carriage agreement. DirecTV's 11 million subscribers, including those with Internet-based U-Verse TV, stopped receiving coverage in the middle of tennis' U.S. Open, starting at 7:20 p.m. EDT. With the college football season underway, subscribers are in jeopardy of not receiving coverage on ESPN networks, including the flagship as well as ACC Network, SEC Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS and ESPN Deportes. ESPN will also be broadcasting the NFL's Week 1 Monday Night Football game between the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers. That game also will be simulcast on ABC.

George Clooney Denies Report He And Brad Pitt Were Paid $35 Million Each For New Film 'Wolves'

George Clooney is disputing a report about his salary for his new film with Brad Pitt. The New York Times reported last week that the actors were paid over $35 million each to star in the film. During a press conference for the film on Sunday at the Venice Film Festival, Clooney mentioned the report to the gathered press. “[It was] an interesting article, and whatever her source was for our salary, it is millions and millions and millions of dollars less than what was reported. And I am only saying that because I think it’s bad for our industry if that’s what people think is the standard-bearer for salaries,” Clooney said. “I think that’s terrible, it’ll make it impossible to make films.”

Quentin Tarantino Blames Alec Baldwin For Rust Shooting Death Of Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins

Quentin Tarantino said that while Alec Baldwin isn’t solely responsible for Halyna Hutchins' death on the Rust set, he should take some blame. The director discussed the 2021 fatal shooting on yesterday’s episode of Bill Maher's podcast Club Random, where he attributed 90% of the responsibility to armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, while placing the remaining blame on Baldwin. “It's a situation, I think I'm being fair enough to say, that the armorer — the guy who handles the gun — is 90% responsible for everything that happens when it comes to that gun... but but but but but.... the actor is 10% responsible,” Tarantino said. He added: “You are a partner in responsibility to some degree.” Tarantino believes actors should personally inspect their weapons to ensure there are no bullets in the barrel or other issues before using them in scenes.
