Major Retailers Are Seemingly Cutting Ties With Blake Lively, Pulling Her Products From Shelves

Blake Lively’s business empire is taking major hits as several of her consumer brands are being pulled or downgraded at major retailers. Whole Foods has removed her canned cocktail line Betty Booze from its coolers, and Target has placed her exclusive hair?care line Blake Brown on clearance—just two years after its high?profile 2024 launch. Internal court documents recently revealed that Blake Brown was projected to hit $100 million in its first year but fell dramatically short, with sales reportedly dropping 56% to 90%. Betty Booze was already struggling before the Justin Baldoni lawsuit, and her non?alcoholic mixer line Betty Buzz shut down entirely in 2025. All of this comes in the wake of Lively’s legal defeat. She sued It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni in 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign. Baldoni countersued for $400 million. Earlier this year, a judge dismissed 10 of her 13 claims, including all harassment and defamation allegations. On May 4—one day before trial—the two sides settled. Lively received no money and no apology, while Baldoni’s team called it a “total victory.” The combination of the lawsuit outcome, public backlash, and collapsing brand performance has fueled speculation that Lively and Ryan Reynolds may retreat to the U.K. to escape the spotlight.
