Major Media Group Makes Screeching U-Turn On Top Comic At Famed Awards Dinner After White House Went Ballistic

The White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) has removed comedian Amber Ruffin from performing at this year’s annual dinner after she called the Trump administration “murderers” on a podcast. Ruffin was scheduled to headline the event next month, but the WHCA board unanimously voted to oust her. WHCA President Eugene Daniels stated that the focus should be on “awarding our colleagues” rather than political division. While he didn’t mention Ruffin by name, he noted that the board is planning a “re-envisioning” of the dinner. Ruffin’s removal follows her comments on The Daily Beast podcast, where she claimed Trump’s White House was staffed with “not human beings.”

Maria Shriver Reveals Current Relationship With Arnold Schwarzenegger After His Affair With Housekeeper

Maria Shriver has opened up about her current relationship with ex-husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, following the fallout from his shocking affair. In 2011, Arny admitted to fathering a child, now 27-year-old Joseph Baena, with their former housekeeper Mildred Baena during their marriage. Shriver had no idea about the child until Schwarzenegger revealed the truth years later. The revelation led to their separation, though it took years for them to officially divorce as Shriver sought healing through therapists, shamans, and psychics. Now, Shriver says she’s in a good place, and despite the past, she and Arnold have found a way to co-parent their four children—Katherine, 35, Patrick, 31, Christina, 33, and Christopher, 27. Maria talked about this on the Oprah Podcast.

The White Lotus Condemned By Duke For Using College Apparel In Violent Scene

Duke University isn’t thrilled with the latest season of The White Lotus. The university issued a statement criticizing the HBO series for a scene in which Timothy, played by Jason Isaacs, wears a Duke T-shirt while imagining his own death. "The White Lotus not only uses our brand without permission, but does so in a way that is deeply troubling, misrepresents our values, and simply crosses the line," said Frank Tramble, Duke’s VP for communications, marketing, and public affairs. "Suicide is the second-leading cause of death on college campuses. As images from the show circulate widely on social media, we are using our platform to promote mental health awareness and remind people that help is available." Tramble emphasized that while Duke supports artistic expression, the use of its federally registered trademarks on a character in such a sensitive context creates confusion and falsely implies an endorsement or affiliation.

Ben Affleck Admits Jennifer Lopez Divorce Was Embarrassing

Ben Affleck opened up about his split from Jennifer Lopez and his relationship with his first wife, Jennifer Garner, in a recent interview with British GQ. Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021, but their marriage ended after two years, with Lopez filing for divorce last August. While he has largely avoided discussing the breakup, Affleck emphasized that there was “no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue” behind it. Explaining why he prefers to keep details private, he admitted, “It’s not about blame—the reason I don’t want to share is just sort of embarrassing. It feels vulnerable.” During the interview, Affleck also spoke about his relationship with Garner, with whom he shares three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. Despite their 2015 split, the two have remained close. “I’m really lucky to have a great co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner,” Affleck said. “She’s wonderful, and we work together well.”

George Clooney Says He's Not Doing Romantic Films Anymore

George Clooney spoke with 60 Minutes about the upcoming Broadway adaptation of his Oscar-nominated movie, Good Night, and Good Luck. In the play Clooney, now 63, plays newsman Edward R. Murrow, a role he said he was not ready to play when he directed the film in 2005. “Murrow had a gravitas to him that at 42 years old I didn’t — I wasn’t able to pull off,” he told 60 Minutes’ Jon Wertheim. The flip side of that, said Clooney, is that there are roles he once played for which he’s now no longer a fit. “Look, I’m 63 years old,” the actor said. “I’m not trying to compete with 25-year-old leading men. That’s not my job. I’m not doing romantic films anymore.”

As recently as late 2024, Trump ranted against Maher as a “befuddled mess, sloppy and tired.” However, Kid Rock appears to be attempting to make peace or at least a meeting between the two. Trump talked about the changes during an interview with Fox News that aired last night. Trump and Fox News host Laura Ingraham walked the grounds of the White House, and then he showed off changes in the Oval Office, including the addition of diminutive gold cherubs. He said the Rose Garden is "supposed to have events -- every event you have, it's soaking wet, it's soaking wet, and people can't, and the women with the high heels, it just didn't work. And we have a gorgeous stone and everything else, but, you know, we use it for press conferences, and it doesn't work, because the people fall into the wet. Alec Baldwin Says Filming Reality Show During Rust Trial Was Unique

Alec Baldwin is opening up about what it was like filming his family's new reality show The Baldwins amid last year's Rust shooting trial. While speaking to People at an event celebrating the grand opening of the new Planet Hollywood in Times Square on Tuesday, Baldwin spoke about the TLC show, which premiered on Feb. 23, admitting it was a unique time for the family when they filmed the show. The actor stood trial last July after being indicted for involuntary manslaughter following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie Rust in October 2021. Hutchins was killed and writer-director Joel Souza was injured after a prop gun that Alec was holding on the New Mexico set discharged. Cameras began rolling on The Baldwins the month before Alec headed to trial — and the series shows how he and wife Hilaria juggled parenting and day-to-day life with their kids alongside the legal proceedings. On the third day of the trial, the judge threw out the case due to a late discovery of evidence. The case was dismissed with prejudice after Alec’s lawyers argued that the prosecution withheld evidence relevant to the case. Alec told People: “When I think of the reality show, many things occur to me after the fact like when we were doing it, it was a bit of a unique time for us, but afterward when we did it, I realized that that's who we are." "The kids have fun, the kids are happy. It's not like we're staging anything or faking. The kids really are in each other's lives," the actor continued. "They have friends and go to play dates and this and that, but they would rather stay home with each other," he added while talking about what the camera captures.”

Both NASA and SpaceX will convene this evening to have a second attempt at launching. After the former couple sparked reconciliation rumors at their son Samuel’s paintball birthday party last week, a source told Page Six that Miller gave Jen an ultimatum — he doesn’t want to see anything like that again or he has no choice but to walk away.
