Noise Advisory – NAS Patuxent River Sets Nighttime Noise Advisory for September 22, 2026

NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Maryland – Communities surrounding the naval air station and Webster Outlying Field are advised that nighttime noise-generating testing events are scheduled to take place Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Pilots at PAX will be conducting nighttime helicopter operations. Night testing and training is essential for the precision and safety of our military aviators and the success of their mission. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.
