On September 14 at 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the 8400 block of Billingsley Road in White Plains for the report of a motor vehicle crash. A preliminary investigation showed the driver, Daniel Corbett Wagner, age 41, of White Plains, was travelling westbound on Billingsley Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. EMS responded and the driver was pronounced deceased on the scene. There were no other occupants in the car. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
