Emergency utility work will begin Thursday, Aug. 27, in Solomons. Williams Street will be closed to traffic while a steam line is repaired, serving the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, which is performing the work.

Traffic on Williams Street will be rerouted through Farren Avenue and Charles Street while work continues. Work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day until the work is completed.
