On Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at approximately 9:23 p.m., deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a reported burglary.
When deputies arrived, a witness reported that subjects had entered the residence and assaulted a male individual inside the residence. The victim was located and was suffering from lacerations to his face and arm. The victim was treated on scene by medical personnel.
At approximately 9:35 p.m., deputies responded to the 46000 block of Midway Drive in Lexington Park for a reported disturbance involving a stabbing. When deputies arrived, a male victim was located with injuries to his leg, arm, and stomach. The victim was flown to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.
As a result of the investigation, deputies identified Tina Marie Tippett, 37, of no fixed address, and Javone Lawrence Warrick, 35, of Lexington Park, as suspects in the incident. Both were located, arrested, and charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, home invasion, and third-degree burglary.
