PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – July 30, 2026 – The Calvert County Department of Public Works, Water & Sewerage Division, advises residents that water maintenance work is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Repairs will be made to a water leak at 155 Main St. in Prince Frederick.

Water outages may be possible from Duke Street to Church Street during this time. Traffic control measures will be in place on Main Street.

Residents are asked not to use washing machines during this time. After repairs are completed, residents are advised to run the tap water for a few moments to minimize the possibility of discoloration or the accumulation of air in plumbing lines.

The Department of Public Works, Water & Sewerage Division, appreciates the public’s patience and understanding during this essential repair.
