[Thursday, March 5] The County Administrator wishes to remind residents of changes to operating schedules for March. All offices, facilities, and services not listed will be operating at their normal hours.
Friday, March 20 (Eid al-Fitr)
- All Charles County Government offices and the Charles County Animal Care Center in Hughesville will be closed.
- All senior centers and the Nanjemoy Community Center will be closed.
- The following county facilities will remain open on a normal schedule:
- All school-based community centers
- All indoor pools
- Port Tobacco Recreation Center
- Elite Gymnastics & Recreation Center
- Waldorf Senior and Recreational Center is open for recreational activities only.
- The Charles County Landfill, all Recycling Centers, and the Piney Church Road Mulch Facility will be open during regular hours of operation. Curbside recycling will run as scheduled.
