Student In Possession Of Knife At Theodore G. Davis Middle School Posted About Six Months Ago Student in possession of knife at Theodore G. Davis Middle School: On October 16, a staff member at Theodore G. Davis Middle School was told that a student was in possession of a knife. An administrative search and investigation were conducted, and the knife was located up the student’s shirt sleeve. No threats were made, and the knife was recovered without incident. A preliminary investigation revealed the student, age 12, brought the knife to school because he thought other students were going to assault him. The school resource officer will notify the Charles County Department of Juvenile Services. Charles County Public Schools will determine consequences in accordance with the student code of conduct.
