Student in possession of a vaping devices containing THC and cannabis: On May 16, administrators at Henry E. Lackey High School were alerted of a student who was in possession of vapes that tested positive for THC. Further investigation revealed the student was also in possession of cannabis. The school resource officer will charge the student with possession of cannabis on a juvenile civil citation. The student also faces disciplinary consequences from the Charles County Public Schools in accordance with the Code of Student Conduct.
