Student in possession of cannabis at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School: On May 7, school administrators at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School located cannabis in a student’s bookbag. The school resource officer recovered the cannabis and charged the student, age 13, on a juvenile citation with possession of cannabis. The student also faces school disciplinary consequences in accordance with the Charles County Public Schools Code of Student Conduct.
