Juvenile charged with strong-armed robbery, assault, and theft: On May 1 at 6:11 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of a previous robbery. Earlier in the day, a juvenile victim and a juvenile suspect got into a fight during school hours. After school, the victim was again assaulted by the suspect, and his shoes were stolen. Through investigation, officers learned an unknown subject had taken videos of the assault. Further, the suspect took photos of himself wearing the stolen shoes but refused to reveal where they were. In accordance with Maryland law, the juvenile, age 15, could only be charged as a juvenile. He was charged with robbery, assault, and theft and released to a parent.
