A fire yesterday at 38395 Pleasant View Drive in Charlotte Hall left an adult male resident with injuries. 75 firefighters from the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire around 12:30 p.m. The fire was discovered by a neighbor after seeing smoke and flames.  The fire spread from a pile of burning debris that became out of control due to wind.  The fire did cause minor damage to the nearby home. It took the firefighters about 1 hours to get the blaze under control. An adult male resident of the home sustained minor burns and smoke inhalation.  The individual was flown by Maryland State Police Trooper 7 to Baltimore Shock Trauma to treat his injuries.
