Student in possession of THC vaping device at La Plata High School: On January 30 at 12:05 p.m. a Youth Engagement Advocate at La Plata High School observed a student use a vaping device in a student restroom. The advocate recovered the vape, which tested positive for THC. The student will be charged with possession of cannabis on a juvenile civil citation and face disciplinary action in accordance with the Charles County Public Schools Code of Student Conduct.
