LEONARDTOWN, MD – The Commissioners of St. Mary's County (CSMC) began their business meeting with an invocation and the pledge, followed by approval of the consent agenda.
The CSMC then presented proclamations in recognition National Family Caregiver Month and Animal Shelter Appreciation Week.
The Commissioners then received a presentation from John Hartline, Executive Director of the Tri-County Council.
During County Administrator Time, the Commissioners took the following action:
- Reviewed future CSMC meeting agendas.
- Approved the fiscal year (FY) 2025 Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Grant request.
- Approved the FY2025 Senior Rides Operating Grant Agreement Award.
- Approved the termination and replacement of Stormwater Management Agreement with Great Mills Limited Partnership.
- Approved the Budget Amendment to Realign County Personal Services FY2025.
- Approved the FY2026 Operating Budget instructions and the non-profit funding recommendations.
- Approved the Employee Contract for the Animal Services Division Manager.
The Commissioners wrapped their business meeting with Commissioner Time.
There will be no CSMC meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The next business meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 9 a.m. in the CSMC Meeting Room (1st floor, Chesapeake Building, 41770 Baldridge Street in Leonardtown).
