Batman Production Halted After Cast Member Reportedly Run Over By The Batmobile
Categories: Entertainment
Production on The Batman: Part II was reportedly shut down after an unnamed cast member was hit and run over by the Batmobile during an action sequence in October. According to The Sun, the person was hospitalized but has since been released and is recovering at home. It's the latest headache for the Robert Pattinson sequel, which has already been delayed multiple times. Director Matt Reeves also reportedly stepped away temporarily for personal reasons, with Steven Soderbergh helping oversee production during his absence. Filming has since resumed in England, and the movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters February 18, 2028. At this rate, Batman might need to trade in the Batmobile for an Uber.
