Brandi Carlile will receive the Visionary Award for Humanitarian Work at the National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards on December 6 in Los Angeles. The singer has raised millions through her Looking Out Foundation, which has donated more than $10 million to nonprofits supporting humanitarian causes worldwide. Carlile has also used her music and concerts to support social justice, refugees, immigrants and LGBTQ+ communities.
