Sony is reportedly planning a re-release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with additional footage that could include a previously cut appearance by Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple. Sources say the new version of the Tom Holland and Zendaya movie would contain extra material, including Dawson’s character. Claire Temple is the nurse who has crossed paths with several Marvel superheroes and appeared in shows including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders. Dawson previously revealed that she filmed a scene for Brand New Day that ultimately didn't make the theatrical cut. And apparently, Claire isn't the only surprise. More previously unseen footage is expected to be included in the re-release. Sony hasn't announced when the re-release would happen.
