Kim Kardashian Awarded One Euro In Compensation Over 2016 Paris Robbery
Kim Kardashian has been awarded one euro in compensation by a Paris court, nearly 10 years after she was robbed at gunpoint during a 2016 stay in the French capital. Kardashian lost an estimated $10 million in jewelry, including a $4 million engagement ring that was never recovered. She said the robbery was deeply traumatic and that the court’s decision was about accountability and recognition, rather than the money. The one-euro award was the amount Kardashian requested. Her stylist, Simone Harouche, also received one euro, while a hotel receptionist was awarded more than 109,000 euros.
