Chadwick Boseman's Brothers Petition Court To Remove His Widow As Administrator Of Estate
The brothers of late actor Chadwick Boseman have filed a petition asking a Los Angeles court to remove his widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman, as administrator of his estate. Kevin and Derrick Boseman claim she has failed to properly distribute estate assets in the six years since Chadwick's death and has exercised complete control without involving the actor's parents, who they say are entitled to a 25% share because he died without a will. The filing also alleges that royalties, residuals, intellectual property rights, bank accounts, and other assets have not been fully accounted for, and claims Ledward has blocked business opportunities that could benefit Chadwick's parents. The brothers are asking the court to appoint an independent professional fiduciary to oversee the estate. Ledward's attorneys have not publicly responded to the allegations.
