'The Batman 2' Delayed Again To February 2028
Fans will have to wait even longer for Robert Pattinson's return as Batman. Director Matt Reeves announced that The Batman Part II has been delayed once again and is now scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 18, 2028—nearly six years after the first film debuted in 2022. Reeves revealed the new date while sharing the first camera test footage of Pattinson back in the Batsuit. The sequel adds Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch to the cast, although story details remain under wraps. Warner Bros. says the delay gives Reeves more time to complete post-production, following an earlier postponement from 2026 to 2027.
