The Harry Potter movies are getting a new TV home. Paramount has signed a multi-year agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery that gives MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, and Paramount Network the exclusive linear TV rights to all eight Harry Potter films and all three Fantastic Beasts movies. The magical marathon begins July 3, when MTV airs all eight Harry Potter films back-to-back through July 5. Paramount Network will feature the movies throughout mid-July, while Nick at Nite and Nickelodeon will begin airing them in August, including a Labor Day weekend marathon. The deal comes as HBO continues developing its upcoming Harry Potter TV series, which has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its premiere.
