Tom Hanks Insults MS Now Reporter
Tom Hanks had a little fun with MS NOW while attending the opening ceremony for the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. As the actor arrived, MS NOW correspondent Jacob Soboroff approached him during a live broadcast. After initially trying to keep moving, Hanks joked, "What can I do for the 800 people watching MS NOW?"—a playful jab at the network's ratings. When Soboroff replied that millions would be watching now that Hanks was on the air, the actor deadpanned, "All right... add a zero to it," before stopping to answer questions about the event. The exchange quickly spread across social media, with many viewers surprised to see Hanks—who has long been associated with Democratic causes—taking a lighthearted swipe at the liberal cable network.
