John Mulaney Becomes First Comedian To Sell Out Wrigley Field
John Mulaney just made comedy history: he’s officially the first comedian ever to sell out Wrigley Field, packing more than 40,000 seats for his July 11 John Mulaney: Mister Whatever tour stop. The Chicago native now joins an elite roster of artists who’ve headlined the iconic ballpark — names like Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, and Pearl Jam — but he’s the only one doing it with punchlines instead of power chords. On the acting front, Mulaney next stars alongside Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale in David O. Russell’s Madden, releasing November 26.
