Adam Sandler Penning Third 'Grown Ups' Movie
The gang is getting back together again — or at least trying to. Adam Sandler and longtime writing partner Tim Herlihy are officially working on a third Grown Ups movie for Netflix, with Happy Gilmore 2 director Kyle Newacheck signed on to direct. The original 2010 comedy starred Adam Sandler alongside Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph and Maria Bello. The story followed a group of childhood friends reuniting decades later for a chaotic vacation packed with middle-aged mayhem, bad decisions, and enough dad jokes to fill a Costco-sized pack. A sequel followed in 2013, and now Netflix has confirmed a third installment is officially in development. So far, there’s no word on which cast members are returning, no release date, and no plot details.
