Production on the new Tomb Raider series from Amazon MGM Studios just hit pause after Sophie Turner—the new Lara Croft—picked up a “minor injury.” The studio says it’s precautionary, but filming is on ice for about two weeks while she recovers. The show has been shooting in the UK since January and is still aiming for a 2027 release… assuming Lara gets back on her feet without any more plot twists.
