"Jumanji 3" Shifts To Christmas Day Release, One Week After "Avengers: Doomday" & "Dune: Part 3"
Sony just made a classic Hollywood move: avoid the heavyweight fight and show up fashionably late with the popcorn. Jumanji 3 is shifting its release from December 11 to Christmas Day — sliding from right before the blockbuster cage match of Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three to right after it. The core crew is back — Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan — along with a stacked returning cast that includes Danny DeVito and Nick Jonas. Jake Kasdan is back in the director’s chair, keeping the same winning formula.
