Nicole Kidman is opening up for the first time about her divorce from Keith Urban following their split in September 2025 after nearly two decades of marriage. In a new interview with Variety, the actress said she’s focused on moving forward and keeping the family strong. Kidman said she’s grateful for her family and wants to maintain that bond while respecting the privacy of everyone involved. The former couple, who married in 2006, finalized their divorce in January. As part of the agreement, both waived rights to child and spousal support. Kidman was granted the majority of time with their daughters—17-year-old Sunday and 15-year-old Faith—while Urban has them every other weekend. Kidman declined to go into further detail about the breakup, saying she doesn’t want to discuss it out of respect for their family. She did, however, praise their daughters, saying they’ve grown into “beautiful young women.”
