Legendary Wrestler Jeff Jarrett Reveals How Taylor Swift Consoled His Daughters When His Wife Died In 2007
Jeff Jarrett says his connection to Taylor Swift goes way back — long before stadium tours and Super Bowl suites. Jarrett revealed in an interview that Swift lived in the same Tennessee town, Hendersonville, when she was a teenager, and she became close with his family. After Jarrett’s first wife died from breast cancer in 2006, Swift and her family stepped in to help comfort his daughters. Jarrett said Swift would come over and spend time with the girls, even returning home once to grab her guitar so she could sing for them. What started as a small visit turned into a three-hour sing-along that eventually drew dozens of people. The bond stuck. Years later, Jarrett’s daughters even appeared in Swift’s 2010 music video for Mine, with one of them portraying a young version of Swift. Jarrett joked that Swift is now the most famous person from their hometown and even teased the idea of getting an invite if she and Travis Kelce move forward with their rumored wedding plans.
