"Marshals" Premiere Draws 9.52 Million Viewers
Taylor Sheridan’s expanding Yellowstone universe has officially hit broadcast TV — and it hit big. The new CBS spinoff Marshals, starring Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton, pulled in 9.52 million viewers for its March 1 premiere. That makes it the most-watched new series debut of the 2025–26 broadcast season. For context, that’s bigger than the Season 5 premiere of Yellowstone on Paramount Network, which drew 8.8 million live same-day viewers. It also topped CBS’ strong 2024 debut of Matlock.
