James Bond Will STart Shooting New Film By The End Of The Year As Insiders Say 007 Announcement Is Imminent

After No Time to Die marked Daniel Craig’s final martini as 007, the next chapter is reportedly gearing up to start filming by late autumn, rolling into early winter. The franchise — 25 films deep, six actors strong — changed hands last February when longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson sold it to Amazon MGM Studios for a reported £1 billion. That’s billion with a “B” — as in Bond, blockbuster, and Bezos probably smiling somewhere. Now insiders say the official announcement of the next 007 is right around the corner. And yes, the speculation is in overdrive. Currently leading the pack? Jacob Elordi. The 28-year-old has seen his odds rocket after the release of Wuthering Heights, where he plays Heathcliff. He went from 14/1 earlier this month to 5/4 favorite. That’s not a glow-up — that’s a full MI6 clearance upgrade. Meanwhile, Callum Turner, who had been the bookmakers’ darling, has slipped from 7/10 to 6/4. In Bond terms, he’s not out — but he’s definitely not holding the high ground. One big twist: with Prime Video now in the mix, there’s chatter the next Bond film could hit theaters and streaming around the same time. If that happens, it would be the first time in the franchise’s 64-year history that 007 premieres with one foot in the cinema and one on your couch.
