Johnny Knoxville Says 'Jackass 5' Will Be The Last One
More than 25 years after launching Jackass into pop culture infamy, Johnny Knoxville says he’s finally done getting launched, flipped, and concussed for our entertainment. The co-creator of the MTV stunt franchise confirmed that the upcoming fifth film — hitting theaters June 26 — will be the last. He called it the “natural place to end,” adding that it should be a “train wreck.” Which, frankly, is kind of the brand. Knoxville has previously admitted he can’t afford another concussion, saying he’s already pushed way past his limit. So if you’re expecting safety and maturity this time around… you haven’t been paying attention. Jackass, co-created with Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze, originally ran on MTV from 2000 to 2001 before spawning multiple movies, including 2022’s Jackass Forever. Now Knoxville says it’s time to hang up the helmet. After decades of shopping carts, fireworks, and questionable life choices, the chaos is taking its final bow.
