Woody Returns To Save "Toy Story 5" From Tablets
Disney and Pixar just dropped the full trailer for Toy Story 5, and yes — the toys are back in action June 19. This time, the big threat isn’t a daycare or an antique store. It’s a tablet. Meet Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee — a shiny digital distraction stealing Bonnie’s attention. Jessie (Joan Cusack) leads the charge as the toys fight to stay relevant in a world where Wi-Fi wins. Woody (Tom Hanks) returns after riding off with Bo Peep in Toy Story 4, keeping in touch via walkie-talkie before making a “triumphant” comeback — poncho and all. Buzz (Tim Allen) and the gang roast him for the wardrobe choice because apparently even plastic has opinions. Forky (Tony Hale) is back too — and somehow gets married to a knife during one of Bonnie’s play scenarios. Because sure. Why not. The returning voice bench is stacked: John Ratzenberger, Blake Clark, Wallace Shawn, Kristen Schaal and Keanu Reeves all reprise roles. New toys join the chaos, including Craig Robinson as a GPS hippo named Atlas and a camera called Snappy.
