Former FBI Top Official Doubts Whether Nancy Guthrie's Disappearance Was Actually A Kidnapping
A former senior FBI official is casting serious doubt on whether Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother is actually the victim of a kidnapping at all. Chris Swecker, who previously served as an FBI assistant director, said he’s highly skeptical that Nancy Guthrie is alive or being held by abductors. Speaking on Fox News, Swecker questioned why there has been no verified proof of life, calling that a major red flag in any legitimate kidnapping case. Swecker pointed out that if someone truly had Nancy, confirming she was alive would be “very simple,” yet no evidence has been credibly authenticated. He also raised concerns about the rapidly escalating ransom demands, which reportedly jumped from $1 million to $6 million in just days — another sign, he says, that something doesn’t add up.
