Universal Studios Hollywood says its new Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster will open this summer, and yes — Vin Diesel is along for the ride, narrating the hype video with a very on-brand “You ready? Buckle up.” The attraction puts riders in muscle-car–style vehicles that drift while speeding forward, replacing the park’s old Fast & Furious tram tour elements, including the stunt show and 360-degree video tunnel. Universal first teased the coaster in 2024, dropped a preview last summer, and fans have been spotting the track under construction for months. Universal has already confirmed an Orlando version is coming in 2027, and the franchise itself isn’t slowing down either — the 11th Fast & Furious movie is set to hit theaters March 17, 2028.
