Speculation was flying in Italy that Tom Cruise would show up for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina — maybe even pull off another high-wire stunt during the opening ceremony, Paris-style. Reports claimed he’d rented a luxury chalet near Cortina d’Ampezzo and could be involved in the Games in some flashy way. Not so fast. According to Deadline, Cruise won’t be in Italy during the Olympics, which run today through Feb. 22.
