Glen Powell Developing Texas Chainsaw Massacre TV Series
Leatherface is headed to the small screen — and this time, A24 is holding the power tool. A new Texas Chainsaw Massacre television series is in development with Glen Powell on board as an executive producer. The project is being developed by indie-darling studio A24 and will be directed by JT Mollner, best known for The Long Walk, according to multiple reports. Mollner says this won’t be a straight remake of the 1974 horror classic, which he called “a perfect film.” Instead, the series aims to expand the Texas Chainsaw universe in long-form storytelling while respecting the original’s gritty folklore and legacy. Powell said the original film is one of his all-time favorites.
