Netflix and Amazon just did the equivalent of sworn enemies sharing fries. A bunch of Amazon-owned movies and shows are suddenly landing on Netflix, including actual James Bond movies. Starting January 15, Netflix is getting Die Another Day, No Time to Die, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall. Basically, if your idea of cardio is watching Bond sprint through explosions, Netflix has you covered. And it’s not just Bond. Netflix is also picking up Rocky, Creed, Legally Blonde, and even Amazon’s own original series The Man in the High Castle. Amazon made it, Amazon owns it… and Netflix is streaming it. Streaming wars? More like streaming yard sale. The Bond movies won’t live on Netflix forever—this is more of a three-month fling, not a long-term relationship. Amazon still runs its big Bond marathons every fall on Prime Video and MGM+, so nobody’s losing custody of 007.
