Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese reunited onstage at Time’s “A Year in Time” event in New York, where DiCaprio was honored as Time’s 2025 Entertainer of the Year. The two looked back on their 20+ years of working together — from Gangs of New York to Killers of the Flower Moon — with DiCaprio calling their partnership one of the greatest honors of his career. DiCaprio admitted one big regret: spending so much energy immersing himself in his characters that he never got to observe Scorsese behind the camera as much as he wishes he had. He said he has zero desire to direct because he could never match what Scorsese does.
