NBC has hit pause on Snoop Dogg’s New Year’s Eve special — the much-hyped live Miami bash that was supposed to ring in 2026 with big performances and surprise collabs. In a statement, Snoop confirmed the change of plans, saying, “Sometimes the calendar gets in the way of the celebration,” and added that NBC and he decided to focus their attention on the upcoming Winter Olympics instead. But he promised fans, “We’ll party together bigger and better later in 2026. Ya dig.” The special was first announced at NBCUniversal’s upfront in May and set to air live December 31 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on both NBC and Peacock.
