Charlie Sheen Floats Idea On How To Fix America's Crime Problem
During an episode of Club Random, Charlie Sheen stopped Bill Maher mid-conversation with an offbeat idea to tackle urban crime. The two were discussing how a small percentage of people commit most crimes in major cities. Maher mentioned that in New York, roughly 600 repeat offenders are responsible for a huge share of offenses — prompting Sheen to blurt out: “So why not take just those 600 people and build a special place for them? Call it the 600 Building!” Maher cracked up, calling it “very good,” and the two riffed on the idea, joking that some criminals treat crime like a “career path.” Maher noted that this kind of frustration is why Republicans win elections, criticizing Democrats for running cities where repeat offenders cycle through the system unchecked. Sheen agreed, saying crime “shouldn’t be allowed to become a career.”
