For NBCUniversal, it expands distribution just as NBA coverage begins under their new long-term streaming deal—many games will stream exclusively on Peacock. For Apple, the partnership follows the quiet rebranding of “Apple TV+” to simply Apple TV and introduces the company’s first-ever discount for Apple One Family or Premier subscribers (a 35% savings).
