Mark Ruffalo Saved 'Now You See Me' Costar Woody Harrelson From A Bar Fight
Mark Ruffalo just revealed that Now You See Me wasn’t the only thing full of magic — turns out, there was also a vanishing act in a New Orleans bar fight. While chatting with Woody Harrelson and Ted Danson on the Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast, Ruffalo reminisced about a wild night during filming. The crew had been shooting in the middle of Mardi Gras chaos when Ruffalo and Harrelson ducked into a jam-packed bar for a few drinks. That’s when things went sideways. A fan approached Harrelson gushing about how much she loved him — sweet moment, right? Until her boyfriend shoved Woody. Ruffalo said Harrelson’s reflex wasn’t to back off… it was to “immediately punch him in the face.” A full-on bar brawl erupted, and Ruffalo — the guy who plays the Hulk, mind you — decided it was time for an escape, not a smash. “I grabbed you and I pulled you out,” he told Harrelson. “This could be fun, but it could also go disastrously wrong.”
