Netflix dropped the trailer for Ballad of a Small Player, starring Colin Farrell as Brendan Reilly, an Irish fugitive hiding in Macau under the name Lord Doyle. Tilda Swinton plays an investigator accusing him of swindling money from her client, calling him “beyond redemption.” Doyle spirals into a desperate gambling binge to cover his debts and help his love interest (Fala Chen), a casino worker. Deanie Ip and Alex Jennings co-star. The movie hits theaters Oct. 15 before streaming Oct. 29 on Netflix.
